Aeroponics (Drip feed) or Hydroponics (Ebb n Flow, Flood/Drain)

I'm deciding on these

Aero
Rainforest 66-Six 6" site Aeroponics System - (eBay item 120179804877 end time Nov-11-07 07:36:28 PST) (http://cgi.ebay.com/Rainforest-66-Six-6-site-Aeroponics-System_W0QQitemZ120179804877QQihZ002QQcategoryZ435 55QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)

Ebb n Flow
MICROGARDEN EBB N FLOW HYDROPONIC SYSTEM FREE SHIP - (eBay item 130167434410 end time Nov-05-07 04:42:09 PST) (http://cgi.ebay.com/MICROGARDEN-EBB-N-FLOW-HYDROPONIC-SYSTEM-FREE-SHIP_W0QQitemZ130167434410QQihZ003QQcategoryZ43555 QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)

Both work nicely. Aeroponics is not drip feed. It sprays a mist on the roots. My vote is for aero. More oxygen to the roots this way = more weed than ebb and flow. It's a little more on the advanced end of the spectrum, but not bad at all.

Both have their high points - and drawbacks .

I've heard lotsa complain about clogged sprayers in aero .

Both systems look kinda cramped - plants could possibly compete for space and try to choke each other out . Just my 2 cents .

Those complaints are mostly from the people that are doing things incorrectly. Next time someone says something like that, ask them how often they clean their pump sock (they probably don't have one), or how many filters they have and how many of those are inline filters, or what mesh size the filters in the line are and what mesh size the filters inside the nozzles are, or how much larger pump did he have to buy to make up for the filters that are required in order to maintain clog-free nozzles.

And the answer is... 6

Or how often do they flush their system with an anti salt and mineral build-up flushing agent?

Or how often when they're high do they eat sugary kids' cereals with gobs of honey on top? Oh well, it's that time for me.
