i was woundering if there is any way by looking at the plant to tell if your over watering it

One way u can usually tell is if the roots of the plants are brown or mushy. This might also be a sign of root rot. Which would mean seeing wilting and yellow leaves.

If you need to know the moisture level they have readers which you buy at home depot for around $5 - $7 dollars that will help you out. Most of them read from a 1 to 10 range with 1 being bone dry and 10 being to wet. Another way you can tell is by inserting a pencil. If the pencil is damp when you pull it out then u know it's watered pretty good.

Overwatering can appear slightly similar to underwatering in the early stages. If the soil is too moist, the roots won't be able to access enough oxygen, and the leaves may tend to droop slightly. Yellowing of the tips and noticeably slow growth is also common.

An easy remedy would simply be to quit watering and see if the condition improves. If the leaves begin to fan out as the soil dries completely, then you know what you must do. If you're growing in soil, you might think about adding a product like perlite to aide aeration.

Best rule of thumb: if you're growing in decent sized pots, don't water until the top 1"-2"of soil is dry. You'll know if you've waited too long to water, as the foliage will lose its turgidity & droop. As long as the foliage isn't allowed to dry out completely, you can usually add water and actually watch as the leaves/stems perk up and become turgid again. But it's not recommended that you wait this long to water, obviously...or you'll likely stress your plants and/or stunt growth.

over water i think... how often do u water... at that size it do 400-600mL ever other to ever third day.. maybe foliar feed... a soil moisture meter is inexpensive so visit ur local garden store and get one as i've found mine in valusble when the top soil looks dry but 4 inches down its water logged!

I wouldn't do that unless treating for a specific deficiency, or for pests. Cannabis absorbs nutrients best through its roots. And if the leaves aren't rinsed off with water, excess salt & non-soluble material can build up. Mold can also form far easier.

i was watering about 10oz between three plants and doing that and was doing that about every 18 hours i just transplanted and from what i could see of the roots they didnt look moldy. also the two sprout leaves are yellow i have heard if your over watering the leaves will start to turn yellow

Your plants are way too low in those pots. You want good air circulation around your plants.

the plants look very healthy, but watering looks like it doesnt reach the edges of the pot or the rootball. a heavy watering, less often?
