is weed in the bible? i say yes, and here is where-

who remembers the story of adam and eve? of course we all know the story, the serpant tricks eve to eating the forbidden fruit.

first point is that it isnt a serpent who tricks eve, its someone with the wisdom of a serpant.

or with the apparent wisdom of a serpant.

and the tree....the tree of knoledge of good and evil. i think the forbidden tree of the knoledge of good and evil....was weed. it had to be.

what else makes "one wise"? no other tree that i know of, definitley not the apple tree.

the forbidden tree had to be some psycoactive plant. it had to be. and since its described as a tree, it could not have been shrooms or peyote or anything. it had to be weed.

cosider that next time you toke up. you are toking the tree of the knoledge of good and evil.

but the tree of life? olive tree, if you ask me.

combine the tree of life with the tree of the knoledge of good and evil..... and you get high as hell! try it. combine weed with olive oil, cook it in a pan, then eat it. i swear you will get high.

too high. dont eat more then a gram.

The snake was used as an evil symbol b/c in the past, the religion BEFORE christianity had the snake as a god. And the early christian followers found the other religion to be evil.

Yeah. I seen this on the History channel a few days ago. Good stuff.

thats true.....but do you know about the serpant?

them who are wise are like a serpant. long and linear.

life is like a serpant. linear. those who tap into this fact, that life is linear, is said to be wise like a serpant.

so one who realizes that life is linear is wise like a serpant.

apparently, one who was wise like a serpant told eve to eat weed. he tricked her. then, she beguiled her husband after she was tricked.

right..... smartin. herbs of all types are very useful for humans, including marijuana.

yeah, the history channel is a good place for info. it used to be much better, but its still good.

as far as the whole bible series on the history channel, i think its good, but i think there is much more to it then the history channel shows.

The Forbidden Fruit could have been one of many things, even an extinct plant.

the bible isnt meant to be taken literally imo... its however you want to interpert it. its meant to teach you a lesson/morals.

Genesis

11: 'And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed...'

'God saw that it was good'

Genesis 3:18 "... thou shalt eat the herb of the field."
Proverbs 15:17 "Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a stalled ox and hatred therewith."[1]
Psalms 104:14 "He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man."

People cherry pick from the bible, i believe cannabis does not need God to exist.

It could have been an ayahuasca vine. Amazonian shamans used Ayahuasca for some incredible introspective journeys at a strength comparable to peyote. It also could have been beladonna berries, and I'm sure there's some hallucinogenic "trees" that we haven't heard of; maybe even some that only existed in the story.

But, overal, I think it's just a story about a magical tree of wisdom.

Yokinazu, do I recall correctly that Datura leaves are what you mix with Ayahuasca vines to trigger the psychoactive properties?

im not sure i as under the impression that ayahuasca was actually a mix of plants that mostly consisted of one or more species of banisteriopsis. it is possible that datura was mixed as to it being native from n.america down to northern brazil. but on that same token so was ipomoea and lophophora.
