so-called 'feminized' seeds are faulty genetics, frequently caused by a self-pollinated hermaphrodite parent (most common method) ... besides female-prone seeds, it adds BAD traits to future generations ... it is not allowed in my garden :smokin:

dont know if this is true or not but i always heard put a couple asprin in the water.
but as stated above feminized seeds= bad idea.
thats why i dont know becaue i wouldnt do it. feminized seeds have a better chance off turning into hermaphrodite plants and we all know we do want any hermys in the garden. unless of course you like pickin seeds out your buds

im really lost why you folks say Fem seeds are not good? i have had many friends grow Fem seeds from a few different seed banks and they all turned out great. I also read on the internet that Fem seeds are usually stronger, they really seem like a good idea. guess im lost in the sauce somewhere along the lines.

That fem seeds are stronger is a myth.
Make fem seeds by SEVERELY stressing a female to produce hermaphrodite pollen wiht no Y chromosome. Pollinaqte the female with this. Voila! All girls!
