Just set up a Rubbermaid box, my plant is in its 31/2 week of the veg stage. before the new box i was using a verry weaak little flourecent light, and with that it was in a pretty low temped area.
As of rite now i have 4 CFL's 26 wat that give off like 100watts. The temp in the box is at 85 and humidity is at 45. are these dangerous numbers or should i be ok? or will the plant become shocked?

thx for the advice every1!

85 is boarder line temp. is there any way to get more air flow through the box to get temps in the 70's.

I have one that I use all the time. I have a fan at the the bottom on outside of box and a inline 4" exhaust fan at the top of box, I use 6 26 watt cfl and can keep temps around 70.

hmm interesting sounds like a plan though!! thx for the advise. so basically anything type of ventillatin to get the temp to 70 should be fine? and as far as the humidity how does 45 do? I know at 50 they mold at 50

soobie that should be fine I never really had a humidity problem with mine at all I keep a electronic temp sending unit inside of box and watch the temps, sometimes they change a bit after watering.

soil looks acidic from the ph meter is the level 4.5-5? what kind of mix are you using(how much peat and how much perlite)? you could have a PH lockout issue causing all the problems. if it is lockout then you need to flush with PH'd water like your doing, 2-4(i forget) gallons of ph'd water per gallon of pot size. tips look a lil nute burned but nothing bad.

looking good so far so keep it healthy

well i know peat moss already has a low ph level of like 3.5ish so your best bet is to repot with a good potting mix. i use 1 1/2-2 bags of foam rock, 1/2 bag of peat moss, a bag of MG organic soil, and some chicken shit. mix it all together in a 30 gallon rubbermaid bin add a lil bit of clean water and let it sit for a week or 2 mixing it everyday and checking PH. my mix usually gives me a ph level of 6.2-6.8 depending on how long it sits. when i repot i lay a inch of foam rock in each pot for better drainage.

We have two rubbermaids going now. A 22 Gal. & A 35 Gal. tub. We have three plant's in the 35 Gal. And two plant's in th 22 Gal. Those two have been LSTd. We just put two 42 watt cfls with 4 26 watt cfls for a total of 11,800 Lumens in the big box. We will add two more 26 watt cfls to big box tomorrow dropped in on a y socket. That will give us an extra 3,250 Lumens. For a total of 15,050 Lumens to flower. We may lose one of those three if we see nut's. not sure yet. Anyway's will this flower ok ya think? we will do the same for the little box. at least 12,000 Lumens, if heat is not a problem there we will drop two more 26 watters in there we have more small fans if need be to overcome heat issues.

man believe it or not but my plant started dying! i think it was somesort of lockout or maybe when i gave it that flush it was juss too acidy for it? i that ph measurer probably isnt that great, but anyways some leafes are starting to dry our and some actually juss snapped rite off already. But i got some new soil mix for it its an awsome mix i forget the name but ill let everyone know asap! this blows!
