skunk#1 because it's short, fat, and takes a beatin'. Nice strain to start on. But do a test run on bagseed first, get them to about 5 nodes to prove that you can raise a plant throught the vulnerable seedling stage.

I'd suggest Master Kush. It was super forgiving to me through pH issues (calibrate often!), some slimy gunk (h2o2+hydroguard=slime) and all my plants turned out female without herming (so far, two weeks into flower). Also, I'd say start with good genetics if you set everything up right, have a good knowledge base, and have a plan set out. Its worth it to start with the good stuff. But if you are just going to pretty much wing it and learn from trial and error, grow bag seed first.

use bagseeds, you will probably kill your first crop, anyway, most do ... dont throw away $$ yet on seeds ... and, I recommend first grow in soil, a lot simpler, and more forgiving :smokin:

I looked around the internet and i was told the White Widow was a great 1st Grow. But i would consider it the best grow if you want to start out in the deep end.

Ive heard that northern lights is a good 1st grow as well as Lowryder2 which is an auto flowering strain.

I'd recommend NL, PPP, Hindu Kush, and MAndala's HashBerry as well- all are forgiving and very short fat sexy indoor plants.
Of all the plants listed above, my absolute favortie for final product is the Pure Power Plant. Cure it well and you'll see what I mean... NICE flavor, NICE frost, looks SWEET in the bag, and you can't freaking kill it.
