does anyone else on this forum play the drums? i got a decent drumset for 50 dollars! its a ludwig accent i looked it up on the internet its really around 200 dollars +. i put new evans heads on it took off the meidum tom cause i enjoy a 4 peaice for right now, and bought a boom stand for the ride/crash. all i need is some new cymbals and i'll be set.
i love punk, ska music so hopefully i can find someone with similar tastes in my town and start a band but for right now i love jamming by myself. i've been playing for about 4 months now.

I play drums and love every second of it. I am confident I'll play the rest of my life, it's just so much fun. I think when you buy your own kit with your own hard earned money that you are more inclined to play it too. I've been playing for a year and 4 months now.
