been showing for 3 days, dunno what sex though

it looks like a v with a small bud thing inside? (could be a male)

could that mean 4 are probably female as they show later than males?

i dont have experience with your nutes, but some stink bad and some dont, i prefer the ones that dont stink

they will get real tall, double in size depending on strains, sometimes sativas will get more than double. i wouldnt recomend topping cause the plant would have to change its energy from budding to healing. i would recommend trying lst first

hey hey jchap :) nah you can lst anytime whatso ever mate, i had to lst my ppp 5 weeks in because apparently the light at 6" just isn't enough so i have laid my colas down almost flat, should also get harder buds that way.

ideal cabnet would be 8' tall, i wouldn't worry about nute smell to much (you don't have to like it) just as long as she does :) i personally use canna A + B through all veg and flowering i use 5ml too every 2 litres every two days (or needed) good way is to stick your finger about three inches into the soil and if its dry? water it. i also increase nutes through flower i now use 7.5ml to every 2 litres with the canna bloom booster.

i had to wait a few weeks to tell sexes i started with 6 ended up with the one female although 3 died due to shock :( i changed light and i think the IR was a bit too much for them :( expect them to double in size in the first few weeks and some can triple.

i use the weight technique to water and my closet is 6 foot plants are already half way up

will the grow slow down at some point

i havent tried the pen tbh although i would start to lst them anyway just to get better penitration through the cannopy. the male showed first by around 4 days i should be looking at around 5-6 ounces i reckon all being well but next time i will try scrog i should get more for less that way.

i found the reason

after i mixed it with water i left it for a week, i just make sure i throw any left over water

oh btw moved my plants to a 12 foot room, so they can grow as much as they want now ;)

GENERALLY the tear shaped ones should come out female but i have seen them stalk out a little then grow balls my ppp is 95% sat that too was about 2 weeks for female and 1 week for male

They should already have pistels if they are female and you can see the preflowers.

If not, they are male.

Don't quote me though, I have to see pictures before I can tell you for sure what they are.

The pistels will start growing out of the female flower almost as soon as the preflower developes. I'v even had to use a small magnifiying glass one time to check the sex of a couple of my plants. Sure as shit you can see the pistels when they are SMALL...

If you want people to be able to help you with sexing your plants you HAVE to post some pictures dude.

The sexing time table is not based on the sex of the plant, it is based on the genetics of the plant. Different strains become sexually mature at different times.

Basically what I'm saying is you shouldn't say "males show sex before females" because that is not true. In a lot of situations you may be led to believe this because you have two different strains and one just happened to become sexually mature before the other/s based on it's genetic traits, NOT because it was male.

nope DO NOT SMOKE THE LEAVES esp at this point.(it'll smell like weed and maybe taste like weed but the effects won't get you high might just make you feel sick though). in a few days to a week or two those tears will slowly open with alot more pistles just keep checking for males every other day (when watering and training is easiest) get to know your plant in every detail and check every flower for balls (could get a hermi). lst would be best started now if you havent already (should have through veg, but only if thats what you want). and come on get some pics up

i have that on every grow i've done the plants canopy gets to a point when light cannot penitrate enough to the bottom sets of fan leaves so they kinda starve mylar could sort this but im too lazy to do it lol

thats the only reson i've managed to come up with to explain why it happens to mine and my mates using two different nutes and set ups although we both use a 400W don't be too bothered about the lower fans dying off the plant will seal these quickly without wound so infection isn't a problem. just don't worry about it or fit some floro's at the bottom if you are but personally i wouldn't and don't.

Yes, in a way. Just not at an extreme rate.

The plant will eventually begin to lose some of its fan leaves during the flower cycle because it no longer requires as much light. But only the plant can determine when it doesn't need the light any more. Basically at the end of flowering it will die.

However, the leaves will not get crispy or brown, they will simply turn yellow and fall off. If they become brown and crispy it's usually a sign of a deficiency or fert-burn.

That's the general idea of it anyway.

they where very small when put into flower 3 inches

now they are 12 inches and looking very good

will the forced early flowering have any bad effect to em?

they went under 12/12 from seedling ( anyone tried this)
