I have had a good quantity of my dry, cured bud in storage for about two months now. It has spidersmites! Live mites, that were NOT there when it was harvasted or stored. This is not my first time(hahaha), and I have never seen this happen. with live plants mites are treatable, but I need some help with this.......It is too much to have to all be trash....

thats some weird stuff man, doesn't make much sense either. Did you cure the bud because spider mites generally eat the chlorophyll in the leaves and all that other fun stuff you're trying to get rid of when you cure your buds.

Totally cured. The mites were in only two of my three storage containers. The one is fine, but the other two are crawlin' with live mites. I have never had curing or storage problems before.

heres an idea, stick your containers in the freezer. The buds all dead and it wont matter, hopefully the freezing tempuratures will kill the mites. Shouldn't hurt your bud at all.

I did think of that, but even dead they are still in there, and thats more of the issue. Thanks for the suggestion though.....

put them in the freezer then hold your bud at the mouth of a vaccuum cleaner? i mean dunno man, id worry about killing them rather then smoking them.

Same Probably i think, I am curing my plants and suddenly i have white spots, and little spider webs, it may just be mold, but seriously wat dop i do?cant use peroxide, i wanna smoke it, wat does ur bud look like, if the white is taking over, the bud goes brownish, same symptoms?
