MAN....i was busted! it was sooo fucking stupid of me too...jesus well i was at school...and well thats usally where i get my buds from, anyways my friend knew i had bud, and i've been promising to smoke him out...and well...he was like lets go right now..i was like hmm i dunno... hes like come on just a quick one..i was like just take a couple hits, and anyways it was me stephen some guy comes in the restroom...and i had the shit in my hand..hes like give me that..im like fuck >_< and well he calls security (he was a janitor or something) and well i get taken up to the office...and they're checking me and searching me, i got suspended for 3 days, and then i have to go to a hearing to see if they'll let me back in school, and well they most likely will kick me out and i'll have to go to an alternative school (you get escorted to all your classes, do not have the privlages to go to the restroom, and its a half day so school is like from 11:00 to 2:00 and you can make up a grip of credits there) and i'm getting a fine for possesion and i have to go to court :mad: :( my fault...i told them we were gonna get caught...

That fucking sucks, man. I use a lightbulb vaporizer when I smoke up during school. It's worked for me, but I still don't haunt the public restrooms when I'm doing it.

Firstly, yups Skizzle, you fucked up letting someone 'bully' you into something that you didn't want to do - you know that, so no lecture on that.
Secondly, blazing up in ANY public place - especially somewhere as confined as public restrooms...in a school....where lots of people can randomly enter...sheesh man, go and get your head examined!!!! (lol)(;))

I'm really not sure what the school is trying to acheive here :confused:
They're gonna kick you out of school for a bit - creating alienation from the other pupils, unrest at home, wasting court time and tieing up the legal system, with the addition of all the stigma attached to your school record, not to mention the possiblity of a criminal one!
Ok, so you, slipnslide, may view this is the same way as someone might view being caught dropping litter - in other words, it probably won't damage your psychological outlook :) - but not all kids are able to do this...what amount of trauma would be pressed upon a different kid!

My point is this:
Why be so draconian and risk the bad apple, when a responsible bollocking from the Principle would probably deter the pupil from doing anything so foolish again. The school would still be able to keep tabs on the pupil, without the worry that the pupil will have to deal with all the shit that I detailed earlier.
They must surely ask themselves why the pupil feels the need to take drugs in the first place - usually due to social unrest, or home-life problems, etc.
Instead, they take a broad scope of this type of thing, and probably create more problems for that pupil (child) to deal with!

Here's a possible senario to consider, which may help to illustrate my point:
Fred is a sad kid; he's ignored at home (at best) or (at worst) beaten. He finds interacting with other kids at school to be very difficult, and is considered by many to be a loner. His grades are average to poor, as he finds it difficult to concentrate due to the pressures of homelife and peer oppression.
He smokes weed as much for escapism, as he does for a 'cry for help' - or seeking attention from an authoritive figure...
You get the picture, I think :)

He's caught smoking at school, and gets all the usual standard response - expellation, parents informed, and police involvement.

He's sent home, where the parents go mad at him, then has to go through the judicial system, and eventually has to return to school amidst all the finger pointing and whispers. Not to mention the fact that his school record will tell prospective employers/colleges, etc about it!

And all the while, the kid sinks deeper into darkness....

Alternatively:
The Principle has a quite word in the kid's shell-like, sets up some counselling, and puts the kid on secret probation. No one else knows about it.
During counselling, the kid's homelife is revealed (maybe something can be done about it), and is able to start dealing with his shit.
Also, because none of the other kids know, he is able to integrate back into class, without the stigma of being 'the school pot-head'.

I think that the latter senario (broad though it is) offers the 'offending' kid a far better chance at advancement than the former.

I know it becomes sticky because of the parents right to know, but I dunno...I just think that every case should be looked at individually - if the Principle is worth his salt, then he should be able to make a responsible judgement call on something like this.

Golden rule, dude - don't be toking it up in school - lesson learnt, I think ;)

lol thanks Res, i actually have no problem, with it...my mom doesnt really give a fuck, she never does about nothing, doesnt bother me, but alot of people knows i got caught, 100's of people been caught up at that school, i was telling my friends i was like hahahah! u guys were caught and i havent been caught with bud or anything, (shouldn't of said that, came back and bit me in the ass the same day) but its all good, im not gonna blaze at school no more, lesson learnt, after i think like...1 year or something of an alternative school, i can go back to that highschool :D so nothing big thankfully

well...nothing's happened yet, except the suspension...im getting a fine..i think im gonna get probation..but again im not sure...and i might get piss tested...im not 100 percent clear on any of it yet, we'll just have to wait and see...i'll post it as soon as i hear it myself

in my first year at uni, we smoked in my room all year then in the last few weeks the fire alarm was set off by all the smoke. fire brigade came and reported smelling weed to the uni,i ended up getting a disciplinary,nearly chucked out of uni but managed to wangle a 50 pound fine in the end...they did mention reportin it to the police to be honest like they would give a fuck? in england its a formal warning for small amounts,that means jackshit,couldnt be arsed with the restrictions some states have over the pond
