This is for those that care, of course.
Indy's worse stat is stopping the run and the pats worse is running the ball.
indy's defense is better than the pats and the patriots dominate the nfl offense right now.
and of course, indy's offense is world-class...in recent years.
i have the pats but i think it's going to be a pretty good game.

Its going to be a good game. my heart is with the colts but my mind is with the pats... I think the pats will have to play a little bit more conservatively and you wont see moss going deep as much because of bob sanders...

i think its gonna be a showdown as well. im picking indy to win this game. and the reason is is that new england has been getting all the hype of being undefeated. this fact is not lost on the colts, they say it doesnt bother them, but i bet it does in the worst way.
who knows, but it should be fun to watch.

I'm picking the pats. They're averaging 42 points per game. Simply put, they are absolutely demolishing each team they play.

Colts. Colts. Colts.
The Pats division is weaker than my 90-year old bed-stricken grandmother...for real...Some of you seem to forget exactly who they're demolishing each game: weak, bottom-feeding teams.
This is their first true test as far as I'm concerned. And it's a test in which they will fail.
As much as I dislike Manning, you just cannot stop that Indy O.

But that is what folks were saying about yesterdays Washington game :D
I'm saying New England will win but of course it wont be easy and should be a barn burner. The Pats have scored more after week 8 than 17 teams did in their entire season last year. Looking at the two teams I think you have to give it to the Patriots.

thanks for merging...
I understand there will always be an opposite side but come on you guys....
but.
washington's secondary is respected....and dallas defense is no joke....
let's give New England their respect, cause if not, they will only get better.
and no one wants a dynasty except new england fans.
any NFL team is hard to beat and new england is doing it real well....
im sorry, i just dis-like when people discredit a team by comparing who they played. instead, i judge their performance as a football team.

patriots are gonna win, its not gonna be that great of a game that its billed as, the pat's d is better than people are giving them credit for they may not be the fastest or strongest but they are definatly the smartest, thats the only thing that can beat the colts offense, the colts are based on great timing while the pats all have great instincts the colts are gonna get killed in the passing game the only guy who is great on defense is bob sanders hes is really good but hes 5-9, he can tackle like a linebacker but hes not going to be able to provide addaquate coverage on randy moss who is 6-4

I've only heard on football head mention it the entire season, but the offense thats thats pats are running is known as the run shoot offense (see: Run & Shoot - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Run_&_Shoot)). This is an oldschool offense thats hasn't been seen by the league in about a decade. The last real team to run in were the detroit lions and they were scoring all over the place with it.... Until they ran into a young agressive assistant coach named.. you guessed it bill belicheck! He stopped the run shoot by dropping max coverage on the wideouts and hitting the recievers in the middle of the field hard. Laying the wood on the over the field catches cause those short but vital gains to dissapear making the long shots moot and returing the team to a conventional run pass offence. That he brought back that offence that he stopped so many years ago is crafty for belichek, and that the other teams didn't do their home work on it is sad for the blow out victims. I think that tony Dungy will study hard on this and use bob sanders and the linebacker corp to lay the wood on wes welker when he goes the short route. I know it seems that the pats can throw deep to randy moss every play but thats an illusion, they still need the short routes to replace the run in their wide open offence. I think the game will be decided by who wins the battle over the middle of the field and not the wideouts. Well that my 2 cents and a little football history for ya to boot.
this pats team just may be too damn good

i really thought the colts had it on that last drive then the fumble. i guess homefield is decided for the playoffs now. colts could beat them nbext time though they are cflearly on their level

Solid game. Glad the Pats took it.
Now the question becomes who is going to hand New England their first loss? Or do they not lose

No Marvin Harrison not to mention a few others. Can't wait to see these two clubs in the future. If the Pats had to play that game without R. Moss it would have been another story.
Have a good one!

You said it Psycho. For what Indy played with they did pretty well.
Payton should have carried them through with the win though. Im pissed they lost but am excited for their next meeting in the AFC Champ game.

Next time around I think we're going to see a different outcome. By that time some of the older set in the Pats line-up will probably be on the bench due to injury.

Pats played like absolute crap, and they still won. Hilarious.

The Pats have 7 games remaining. Three of the teams have winning records. After having beat Dallas and Indy I'd say they do have a shot at 16-0. Pittsburgh will be tough but they fell to Denver so they clearly have some areas that can be exploited.

I think, to beat the colts you have to play good. BUT the colts held their ground against the pats so what you get is a "bad-looking" game. but ask the players.... i bet they'd tell you that it was one of the toughest games of their lives... it was a defensive game. AND the colts didn't have key players.
but the scary thing about it is that these teams are just going to get better and better.
so, if they do meet each other again in the playoffs or the confrence champ....it will be an even better game. hopefully, more offensive than defensive.
and if they do meet, i have the colts.....it's my gut feeling.

You said it! They've got the Pats undefeated, Red Soxs winning it all, Boston College kicking tail in football, the new look Celtics, and the Bruins are much better then they've been in years.
