basically as people say abuse anything and it becomes shit, i being abusing cannabis lately alot and have decided to quit smoking pot for 2weeks to clean my lungs up a bit for the stoning im going to be doing in amsterdam!!

i will keep a daily blog of how i feel and wether i can resist for 2weeks.

Day One: Had cravings at work for a lunchtime spliff, in the evening my mate called me to say his going out at around 9pm and would like to smoke with me, but its too cold outside and i rather stay at home. Day one went well did not smoke no pot.

Hey sounds like you're making progress! I'm quitting for a short while myself so good luck to both of us! Maybe this can become a resisting guide and people can look here to help them overcome their desire of cannabis for their short period of abstinence! After this is over, and we tell them how incredibly fucking high we will be; it will inspire people to take short breaks.

I think I'll be finding myself in that same situation soon, but not by my own choosing. Just talked to my guy and he's in the hospital, nothing serious, just gallstones. Being operated on tomorrow, I'm going to see him tonight. I have about 3 days worth of MJ left; I'm getting verrrrrrry nervous. :(

You're taking a break not quiting.

Breaks are good though. I haven't took one in a long time.

Jim says if I do not smoke with him he will haunt me forever until I do and his friend ralph will help him too. Im scared I need some help. I dont want them to get me... HELP!!!!

I started a 3 week tolerance break Sep.15. Two weeks down. One to go. I think one of my greatest strengths is self discipline. I quit cigs, I lost 45 lbs., I went back and got another degree at 50. You need will power. It's hard. I hear my blueberry calling me.

just came off a self inflicted two week break. Finally smoked five days ago and it was fuckin awesome.:thumbsup:Not only that when I did smoke, last thursday, I picked up a 20 and just finished it Monday evening. I cant remember the last time a 20 bag lasted me more than a day, so its all good.

I think this is a good idea, I'm jumping on and taking a break starting today and going to friday evening lol! Not smoking during the week should help me to get more done.

He's technically "quitting for 2 weeks" which is technically correct english. lol You can consider you're going to stop eating for an hour.. you don't take a break on eating.. well some might. But a break would be lunch.. break.. lunch. Quit is like lunch.. dinner. At least, that's how I've always seen "quitting" and the difference from a "break".
