I moved this to the strains section.
I don't recommend SC for a noob... is this your first grow?

Yea but seeing how the strawberry cough stuff is on its way out I think its an ok thing to attempt. Hell buy seeds and sit on them for a while until your more comfortable if your a n00b that is.
How do these seeds grow anyway? I haven't come across a grow guide using these seeds. Hmm just wondering. I'm a Delta freak so these seeds are way at the bottom of my list of strains so grow.

I got my SC as a cutting and never liked it. I culled it over a year ago. Edit: I DID recently have to opportunity to smoke the true Strawberry though, and it was a really nice smoke, really authentic earthy strawberry taste.

Stinky is right ...you have to really be on your P's & Q's ...she is finicky,,,does not like strong nutes especially in flower...i had 5 of DP's SC in my last grow...PureFlowers(Bloom helper) was almost too much for Her , and she was the only one that showed even the slightest bit of nute burn in regular veg...this time im on it and im doing strains that all grow well with light nutes and honestly i can say she is the mist vigirous of the bunch ...and im in week 5 of veg,,,All the strains like like nutes with the exception of my own cross of WW and Grapefruit...(Widow's Fruit TM) ...lol..im sure its been done b4 with a different name ...lol...but thats what im gonna call her .. only thing is i have 3 that take after the WW in appearance and 3 that take after the Grapefruit 6 total... oH well...But i am on it !!! and plan to see what this SC can really throw under the right conditions...i must admit due to the nutes i had to use for my other strains i was not really very happy with her yeild or quality...i blame myself..

Only at day 7 12/12 with Strawberry Cough(DP seeds) and would say they are tallish plants and stretching a bit more than other strains in my grow. They will surely require some technique to ensure your height limitations aren't exceeded. They respond very nicely to LST and throw up multiple colas. Haven't had any nute issues yet and excepting the need to control height I can't say it's a hard grow to this point. 100% germination and luckily 100% females. They show sex by early preflowers @ week 3 from popping seed. That is an important aspect to someone growing in a confined space(early sexing), to allow the females to get prime light position. If you do LST expect some big bushes going into flower!

yup...got 4 strains going and my Strawberry Cough's showed sex first...my c99's are now showing 3 weeks later than the Strawberry Cough and the ak47's have only shown me 1 true male...and still hoping my Widows Fruit will all be female...im gonna baby these 2 Strawberry Coughs and see what happens.

"Strawberry Cough is a plant of happy mediums, growing to a height of around 3 feet indoors or in a greenhouse garden and exhibiting leaves that balance between indica and sativa influences." - Ed Rosenthal

ive grown it before for my last grow but i didnt bother with pics although i may have posted some in the earlier stages try lookig back on my threads i grew it with blueberry
i found it easier to grow than blueberry but found mine got quit tall about 5 foot an a vit taller but i vegged for 2 weeks too long due to a setback on the blueberrys
they are generally a medium height plant and are quit branchy but it didnt find this a pain
the bud was nice and very tasty you need to flower for 10 weeks i chopped mine at jus over 8 so lost out on some yeild an flavour but it did kinda remind me of strawberries
im thinkin of growin it again but shorter an fuller flowering
give it a shot if you want, i was pleased with the end result

I'm 50 or so days into my 2nd round of SC, and I think it's a fantastic plant. Growing in soil, using ff ferts, 400w HPS and 175w MH, vegged them slow for a while as I had to hold them back for two months, so they were big and bushy when I went to flower with this bunch.
Can't wait another 3 weeks, but it's another 3 weeks after that b4 it's any good so at least I can take consolation in the monster nugs from these bitches.
I'll be growing it again. Complements the BC I which just grows about 20% bigger.
Both stay pretty short, 3-4 ft, to answer your question.
