View Full Version : Light distance for baby plants??

How far should these two CFL's be from these babies?? One is a 45w soft white and the other is a 26w 6500k cool light. Someone please help me with this one, I cant find any info on how to provide light to seedlings 1 day out of the dirt.. They r so small i dont want to stress them out.

closer....they are going to stretch...
You should be able to get to a few inches above.

Awsome Thanku very much blink, i just moved them closer to about 3" away instead of the 8" will these 2 CFL's be enough light until i can put them underr the 400w MH?

You have a 400w MH and you're using CFLs????
You should be using the MH like, now.
Unless you mean HPS or electricity costs are an issue?
