Well, I am a supervisor of a tire shop here in alaska, and in all of our rush to put winter tires on I accidently hit a mirror on a car pulling it out of a bay, and i think my company does post accident drug testing, I did not have to sign any paperwork today, and the managers were really cool about it ( and did not say anything about a drug test, but that doesn't mean they won't later)

I smoke pretty much everyday, but I am skinny 6'1 150lb's

it happened today (saturday) so I could be tested tomorrow, but it also could be monday, other then drinking tons of water and breaking a sweat what can I do to better my chances?

damn can they really just pop a drug test on you for somethin like that?.. for some reason I have it in my head that you have to be given at least two week's notice or somethin but that could be complete bullshit and just the result of my unrealistic optimism

Stay high

Well, same thing happened a few weeks ago to another employee and they drug tested him on the spot..... but they also have suspected him, so I think they were just using that as their excuss to test him... either way I am nervous as hell!

Quick Fix is the way to go. Just read and follow the directions. And PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!

Yep quickfix is the safe route and now it won't be supervised.Practice to keep the temp right but its pretty easy.

this is a post-accident test... how do you its not going to be supervised thats really my main concern

I believe this is also going to be an off-site testing (some clinic or medical facility) So having a microwave to heat the pee probably is not going to be happening

Unless you were seriously injured (incapacitated) in the accident to where youre unable to submit a sample on your own, or If you had been suspected of tampering, you wont be observed.

If collection takes place off-site, this is a good thing if you're not accompanied by another job supervisor. On the way to the "drop site", you could always stop at any convenient store and use their mic. :smokin:

It comes with a hand warmers that you tie around the bottle. Or in the morning right after you put your pants on shove it in your underwear(yeah you gotta find some tighty whities) and your body temp will heat it up. But the hand warmer is a safe bet, it does get kinda hot but thats the price you pay. Just take your time, dont spill any, they arent watching, arent listening, its just thier job to give you the cup and to do the paperwork.

thanks everyone, I will keep it posted

Alright, got the quick fix, but I am still a little concerned about the heating process..... there deffenatly is not going to be a microwave.... Do i just wrap it in the heating pad and hide it in the drawers? How do i practice with only one heating pad? should i just buy some hand warmers?

Handwarmer packs can be used. They are sold cheap at camping/sporting shops.
Bear in mind that the heat pack by itself will take approximately 1 hour to heat a cold QF bottle to 100 degrees. Are you sure you are not able to access a mic enroute to the drop site?

They usually ownly require 2 ounces in a UA which is how much is in a bottle of QF.But if you've done the dillution sticky and are fairly clean you could get away with peeing a little in the cup. The tech should tell you how much he wants in the cup.If it looks like a little more than 2 ounces I would pee a little in it. Just be sure to use your midstream piss.

Bejagins...warm the QF before you leave for work. Warm it for 10 seconds and immediately crotch it. My brother did this TODAY. He had to drop for probation and has been clean for 32 days but still is showing positive on a home test. He warmed it for 10 (temp was at 94), crotched it immediately and after the 15 min drive it was at 96. He went in, was directed to the bathroom and boom..done. In and out in 10 minutes. Good luck. Just practice. You can heat the QF as many times as you need to. The heat pad that comes with it is only good for one use. As long as you heat and crotch it, it WILL stay warm. Good Luck!

you may have already taken your test, if you have not then please don't pee in the cup, 2oz of quick fix is more than enough to supply a testing facility.

I worked at a warehouse with a friend and he wrecked a fortlift, and when you wreck, you have to wait while a moble crew 24rs, drives and tests you. The company was located about 80 miles away and my friend drank water and as much as he could for the sum odd 80-90 minutes and passed..

just a tip for the unlucky people who's employers judge the man by his piss, not his work..

For what it is worth, guys, I had an accident four years ago, a fender bender, hardly hurt the guys auto, and I had to take a UA. WITH a nasty old ugly nurse standing right behind me in a four by four foot or so poophouse. I was observed, but basically from behind.

I would have STILL used the QF 4.0 if I was using back then. Put it right in the drawers taped with duct tape, and then opened my fly at the UA and flip the top of the cap, and let it fly. I would have at least tried.
