I was looking on a different site and it said to "plant germinated seeds with the grow tip up (if possible) in a growing medium as soon as the root coming out of the seed is 1/16" or longer. Use tweezers, and don not touch the root tip."

I am into my fist grow and I read on this site that the fist root that comes out is the Tap Root and it is to be planted growing down.
I assume that this is the correct method but want to be sure.

when the white 'tip' emerges from its shell, place it gently 'tip-DOWN', about 1/4" under the soil ... :smokin:

I was almost positive that was right but many people seem to state there opinion as fact.
