help me, I dont know what's wrong.

I am near the end of the flowering period of my first ever grow but the buds on my plants do not appear to be turning brown in a hurry. the plants are supposed to flower 8 - 9 weeks but i am now into the 10th week of flowering and still there is hardly any reddish brown color to the buds. do i have to wait for this to happen or would it be ok to harvest them now that the time period is over?. have i done somthing wrong for them to take so long flowering? please help guys as this is staring to worry me that i may have wasted 10 weeks of electricity on nothing.:(

HArvest when trichomes are going amber, not by hairs.
Do you have a light leak?
Also those flower times are not alwyas perfectly accurate...

ok thanks stinky. i dont have light leak, so i guess im just gunna have to be patient and wait for them to turn amber.:thumbsup:

pocket microscope is a must have.
60x might be too much try a 30x and watch the trichs change colour....sooo coool
