a friend of mine recently gave me some weed that had a lot of seeds in it... the weed was not very strong at all but smokin it left me with a nice relaxed feeling but nothing else, it had a nice cerebal buzz for about 30 mins then all of a sudden it wore off meanin i had to smoke more of this weed. the weed was not good quality at all. the nuggets i got were very britle and a lot of the weed broke off in the bag leaving a lot of crumbs and shaky stuff. my question is can i grow the seeds and fert and do all that to grow some decent buds? or will the genetics come back and produce more crappy weed regardless of my efforts?

my experiance with common dirt seeds is, great to learn with, it will come out better but not by much. You will create sinsimilla so no seeds, and you will take better care of the plant when growing. Plus it is an outdoor strain and will not do well grown indoors.
other than that yes gennetics tells you will end up better than average crappy smoke.

seeds from mexibrick are good for one thing and one thing only: Testing your seedling-care skills.
Sativas of the sort used on brick farms get lanky and big and aren't easy to grow indoors.
But shwag seeds are great to make sure that you aren't going to kill your plants in their vulnerable seed-to-first-transplant stage.
