View Full Version : Guilty?

So I've been smoking weed since I was 14, all through highschool I managed to get good grades with minimal effort but with one problem.
The guilt.
I don't know if it's the paranoia, I just feel like I'm doing something wrong when I'm smoking, people look at me different than they used to now that they know I smoke. I eat very healthy, am very happy, and rarely have moments of poor character (I think :D) . In fact the last girl I was with was always surprised how nice I am to people, I guess when you're known as a stoner people lose respect for you, thinking you'll be on to crack in 6 months.
I've heard all the "don't care what other people think blah blah" before, but I feel guilty more because I'm nervous about screwing up the rest of my life. I guess the drug propaganda has gotten to me..
I just need some reassurance.

if you feel like smoking isnt right for you, then stop. simple as that. if the way you seem to people is important to you, and as the way you put it, i believe thats the case, pot isnt making you happy, so why should you continue? if it does make you happy, but everyone you care about thinks your a crackhead or something, should you not stop?

It makes me happy, it's just for example today I was assigned to a group where the project is to make a mock business plan. After we've gone over everything, this one girl just looks at me and says "you better not be high when we're doing this". I never smoke before a class and my work, when it's important, is always done very well.

Man... think this way:
Weed makes you very happy. How many people are able to make you as happy as you are cause of the weed?
Weed makes you have a good character, and be nice to the people. How many people are able to make you be good and nice with people?
And the list goes on... think all benefits weed gives to you, and think if the people can give you the same benefits.
If not (what im sure), then i think the choice is obvious enough...
Dont let another people PREJUDICES be in your way to happiness and well being... im sure if people who says that smoking weed is bad smoked themselves, they would change their views... the people against the weed simply dont know what they are talking about, they just repeat what the government said, that weed is bad, and so.
We, who smoke weed, are smarter enough to think more than average people do, we can see through the lies, and thats why we smoke and dont give a damn about what other people thinks. They are being fooled. We are not. We know were right, and thats why we smoke. So, dont let yourself be carried by what other people thinks. Only you can live your life, only you can feel what you feel... so only you can decide what you must to do.
Or, in short words...keep toking!:stoned::rastasmoke::jointsmile:

Dont let what people say effect your lives. Your supposed to live your life as you see fit. If it does does bug you constantly than don't smoke. Or just tell everyone you quit so everyone will get off your back? Its your life and your decision so its up to you to decide what to do.

Don't smoke if its not enjoyable. I think your just feeling the guilt brcause it is an illegal activity. If you fell its interfering in your every day activities or anything else you want to do let it go. If it enhances what you do. Toke up!
