Okay, marijuana is a schedule 1 substance with absolutely no medical value...yet, marinol (synthetic THC) is a schedule 2 because it has medical benefit...that's senseless..:wtf:

This is a list of Schedule I drugs under the Controlled Substances Act for the United States. Required findings for drugs to be placed in this schedule: [1]

1. The drug or other substance has high potential for abuse.
2. The drug or other substance has no currently accepted medical use in treatment in the United States.
3. There is a lack of accepted safety for use of the drug or other substance under medical supervision.

I know this is such bullshit man how could anyone argue that weed is any of those 3 things. well i guess you could consider it "high potential for abuse" but whatever smoke weed everyday

Definately. But then why isn't alcohol legal? Its obviously abused, and no medical use, and its not very safe to use either. But oh well, just shut your mouth and do what the goverment tells you.

The reason for this is because marijuana has a higher abuse rate then marinol
