Hey guys ive bein lurkin around these forums checkin out everyones luck with there grows so i thought id give it another shot, Ive tried before but got males and it wasnt the easiet place to grow now i have a basic Rubber Tub Grow Box that i found the plans for on this site. But Basically running 6x 26 watt CFL's a nice intake fan etc etc. But this is a benchmark im using some bag seed from some decent smoke i came across last night. This is all practise for when i get ahold of my C99's. BTW this box is used to grow and lst 1 nice yielding plant.

I hate Photobucket....IMO Imageshack.us is the best and easiest. Just be sure to click the picture when the page uploads, and right-click, scroll down the properties and copy'n'paste the link, then paste it in the IMG link (insert Image).
Hoped that helped, I am high... >_< Good luck!! I am anxious to see you Grow.

Hey evryone just wanted to post some pics and ive ran into a little problem. The one that came out of the soil seemed to be growing fine but now she is all droopy and its not from overwatering. Im not too sure what the problem is but no biggie as this is just a benchmark but if anyone has seen this before and could help me out drop a post. Here some pics.[attachment=o163522]

Maybe it's heat stress...i don't really know..but you should invest in some decent pot's.
That PET pot you are using is not the best...

Thanks for the input zeb, if its heat stress u think the other one will follow? I plan on transplanting today actually here in the next 30 mins so ill post more pics soon.

My babies are in there new homes, i gave them another watering after transplant and also lowered them away from the heat, so hopefully the curly leaves will pick back up.

Nice,nice...i have 1 question.: the fan on the top of your growbox is sucking the air out ,or blowing in????
YaYoKush
10-31-2007, 04:34 PM
It is sucking out and discharging through a hole in the attic. For cooling purposes and smell in the future.

Well its day 10, bad news one of my babies has made a turn for the worst yellowing leaves very dry to the touch i believe its on its last leg. On the other hand Zula the one i decided to name has recovered from over watering and has flourished with growth. I am going to give the runt 1-2 more days and if she shows no sign of improvement then i am just going to give her the boot. If this happens ill stick with Zula untill i she shows her sex and if she is male then i am going to order some nice Cindy genetics because i have my grow room setup just the way it needs to be. Enjoy guys any feedback appreciated.:smokin:
1st 2 pictures are of the runt and the other two are of Zula.

Dont boot the seedling till its dead, y'never know how they might turn around!
Zula is looking quite nice. Considering the containers they are in and that its nearing the two week mark, when do you plan to transplant?
YaYoKush
11-04-2007, 02:42 PM
They were transplanted about 3 days ago mate. They were in some shitty plastic bottles i rigged up with drainage holes! But now there in about a 1 gallon pot i plan on transplanting 1 more time right before i start to low stress train Zula.

Durr, i realize that now looking at the latest pix. Doh!
I cant wait to see how the LST'ing goes. Are you going to do it in conjunction with FIM/Topping? I'm going to have to do that sooner or later myself (hoping for plenty-a-cola).

Are you planning on growing your c99s in the box too? Since they are sativas I hear they grow pretty tall and wild. They would probably be a lil cramped in there, might be better to go with a shorter-growing strain if that's the case.
Good luck with this grow, anyway. :greenthumb:

afghooey i do plan on growing the cindys in the box but it will only hold 1 plant at a time and i plan on topping with some low stress training and also following Norkalis grow log he has just started his cindys almost the same time i started my bag seed so if Zula goes fem i will wait to order the seeds until harvest wich will also give me a gestimate on how fast/tall/wild those sativas can be from Norkalis log.
Hey Yayo, what it do. Well, since you checked out my log I thought i'd check yours out :D. Well i'm only about 8 days ahead of you, it will be interesting to compare our progress. Make sure you don't give those babies too much love, let em do their thing, well, good luck man, i'll be following your log.

Well i killed off the runt who wasn't showing any signs of improvement to make room for 3 new seedlings. I germinated them last night no tap roots yet maybe tonight when i get off work they will be ready. Re arranged my grow box. Quick question right at my 6x cfl bulbs the temp is around 98 so should i put them right under the lights 2 inches or just use the heat test because Zula wasn't stretching and she was 5+ inches away from the lights. But the rest of the grow box has a range between 75-80. Here are some pics for you guys.

I think people top them around between the 4-5 or the 5-6 node. Cfls dont cause too much strech so I think you could have them at 4 inches and be fine, if streching occurs ( you will see from the first days when they pop out ) then you can put the lights closer :) btw orange color lights are 2700K, its better for flowering. you should use white "daylight" 6500K for veg... but I grew before with orange without knowing so its ok too. but whites still better :D
take care!

Looking good man, I'd invest in reading about "fully" low stress training your plants. It will make the most out of your lights. Bending them (partial low stress training) to expose more light does good also and it is what you will see the most of, but full on lateral growing for the win.

O yea scrappie for sure bro i plan on heavy lst and adding some side lighting and another fan to keep temps down. By the way since this is just a test run for a x-mad harvest im going to begin flowering in 1-2 weeks for an early harvest. Then order some NLXC99 Jeez im bought stoned out of my mind right now im in outer space vanished withou a trace....:noel:

Well guys Those other seeds i germinated didnt pop guess there were shitty seeds but i got a few more germinating. I found out my problem with my grow box not enough ventilation and too much heat. Zula was in really bad shape didnt even snap pics of her till today but i took out 3 bulbs still have 3 running and the temps are at 75 constantly now and Zula has started growing again. 3-4 days she was just trying to survive. but here are some pics of her now guys.

I know you guys would probably say it was from overwatering but i am pretty sure it was the heat stress and humidity but all in all this is a benchmark to put my skills to the test so this is the best learning exp ive ever had with indoor control growing.

Don't worry...everybody makes some mistakes....
If you make a mistake you'll learn, that way next time you gonna do it better....
The important thing is that you shouldn't stop trying and growing weed ,bcuz growing is such a great thing. My plants are like family members for me, i love and protect them , and give them everything they need ,and that way they feel good ,and bcuz of that i feel good to when i hit the bong in the end....take care buddy:thumbsup:
