Closest to my house is Starbucks and I got a giftcard:)
I am leaving now...I always get the Venti Coffee..that is there fancy way of saying large...whatever..sometimes I make it at home..I like it better out..lot of people hate on starbucks but there coffee is pretty good and has a lot of caffiene..it is the only coffee I drink..in the morning..1 cup..
also, side note: they always say "room for cream" and I say "yes"..when I get over to the the little station I open up the coffee and it is to full so I look around to make no one is wathcing and dump what I dont need in the cup into the garbage can..I think a lot of people do it.

There are some bitchin' coffee systems out there now that can really deliver on flavor.
I bought my grinder when I worked at the motorcycle shop one day after my boss at the time came in with some cheap shit coffee that was nasty as dookies.
I went to "Bed Bath and Beyond" with my wife and picked up the 2 grinders and my coffee pot. The coffee pot and one grinder stayed at my house and the other grinder and a bag of Colombian beans went to the shop where I proceeded to make the coffee. Needless to say, the improvement was so astounding that my former boss still has me make the coffee when I am at the shop on time for coffee chores 6 years later.

I used to get it from Rao's in Amherst until they got too yuppie, then from Pierce Bros in Sunderland, then they lost their lease to Dunkin FUCKING Donuts and guess what I've got in front of me right now?
For you guys who tolerate the existence of Starbucks....

currently, I get my coffee at the local K-Mart, since they've become the last place around here to find 'Chase and Sanborn', my favorite coffee ... very hard to find ... trivia: it was the world's first canned coffee, it was sold as the 'first coffee on both coasts' ... cowboy/trucker coffee, it's been around awhile ;)

every time I really liked the coffee in a truckstop, restaurant, etc., I would ask the waitress what kind it was ... 90% of the time it was Chase and Sanborn ... I have never been able to drink coffee from the Starbucks-type of 'modern' coffees ... whenever I try a $4 cup of coffee, one sip, and I pour it out ... I just can't drink that horrible swill ... :D

Although I want to stop, my coffee tastes are elegant, and no one respects a guy who pays $4 a ay. It's quite sa but I love the white chocolate mocha.

I drink a couple cups of Folger's in the morning. Papi gave our coffee grinder away last year. He gave it to a friend to grind weed in. Now I don't have anything to grind weed OR coffee. I'm going to buy another one the second I get a chance. The rest of the day I drink Frappucinos that I get at the gas station, or I make my own version in the blender. I'm all cracked out on Mocha, and now they've got a new flavor that's my version of meth: Dark Chocolate Mint. I will roll pennies to buy a bottle of that shit. It costs more than a 40 oz. of beer. I replaced one habit with another.

I like the java chip frappuccino, no whip from starbucks.. but my fave coffee ever is Nescafé Classico.. its dark and strong and even if u add too much coffe, it doesnt taste like charred caramel like folgers does... i hate folgers..

Folger's is Papi's fave, and since Papi is MY fave, well, Folger's it is. I like 8 'clock bean myself, or White Castle.

I buy whole Tully's beans and grind them just before brewing. I don't know if Tully's does business outside the pacific northwest, though. I usually get a blend of guatemalan, columbian, and ugandan.

I get the ground coffee beans from the grocery (Comunity Coffee between roast). It still comes in 1 pound bags..... not 13 ounces like all the others. For what folks pay for ONE cup from the likes of Starbucks, I make a dozen full 12 cup pots.

I sometimes buy a cup of coffee from Tom Horton's here (A Canadian only company). I swear, they put herion in that stuff it is so good, but the price is kind of high, I mean, compared to what it cost them to brew an entire pot of coffee to what they sell it for is silly.
But usually I buy Folger's in the big tin for at home. It's cheap, and tastes fine to me, so I buy it.

I get my coffee at the grocery store. I like Folger's. I really prefer instant when I drink it. It's not as strong and if you add boiling water, it stays hotter longer than coffeemaker coffee. I like my coffee fairly weak. Tea is still my preferred hot beverage.
I just don't get the whole Starbucks phenomenon. Such expense and hype for a burned-tasting drink.

I used to drink Folgers all the time. My Dad is a huge coffee drinker, like at least a pot a day by himself. But he always had Wally World's Arabica. I bought some of Wally's Columbian. I'm hooked. Literally. But only I only allow myself 2 cups first thing in the morning. Black. It's good. I'm such a skin-flint. It's one of the cheapest but probably one of the best I've had. John Stossel on 20/20 did one of those blind comparison things and damned if the cheapest one wasn't picked as the best everytime. Price don't matter when it comes to coffee. Anyone ever heard of that delicacy brand made from beans ate then shit by some animal? Gross. I ain't never paying $6 for no cup 'o mud chillun. Man, I'm gettin' to be a fuckin' geezer. 52 and I act like 80.
