hi,
have some plants growing in a grow cabinet, they are about 3 ft tall, one stem, straight up, no branching out, really healthy lookin and green leaves but
one of my plants is sprouting lil purple flowers
this is my first cab grow
Are the purple flowers a hermy or, do they do that?
never really noticed the purple flowers when growing outdoors on my other grows
Thanks for all replys

A picture is worth a thousand words... *wink*
It's difficult to say without some more information. How old are the plants? what strain? what lighting, nutrients, growing medium? Vegetative or flowering stage? Where are the flowers forming?

the lavender fluers are growin tween the branches like a cluster
theres only one plant with fluers, they have an awsomely skunky odor we live on 5 acres 2 miles off road growin our own is not a problem, this is our first indoor grow
well I got pictures now he made me put the guitars up :jointsmile:

Are the plants under a flowering light schedule? It's possible you just have purplish buds forming... not a bad thing at all? What are the temps like in your grow room? cold?

where u see lil flowers is were u will be able to tell if it is a male or female males have lil yellow flowers... actually flowers are signs or males lil clusters in between the branches are the pre-flower for a male
for a female instead of clusters u will see pods that look like the males but they will not be iin clusters and they will have lil white hairs growing out of them you will need to a magnifying glass to see when they first sprout
so look at ur plants and the one that has the lil white hairs is the female
and i dont see any purple flowers

thank you twitch
10-4 on the purple hairs being awol
the branch they are on is laying behind the buckets he panicked thought it was hermy and plucked it,
little white hairs with a magnifieing glass I'll look for that
shouldnt be to difficult

The plant on the left is a female, the plant on the right is a male..
All plants have little white hairs, however female plants will start to show a few, large white hairs like in the picture. You don't need a microscope to see these!
I hope this helps. It will become a lot clearer as soon as you spot them on your plant ;)
