Hi,
Just to make the formal introduction: I have been reading this site for more than a year, but I finally figured that I had wanted to post badly enough that I actually went for the gusto and signed up. So...hi. :)
As far as my "habit" goes, I am an occasional user of cannabis, but as I age I find myself more and more desirous to recapture those individual liberties upon which this country (i.e., the United States) was ostensibly founded. Therefore I find myself more and more attracted to activism, and I feel that if we as the "cannabis culture" can arm ourselves with overt intelligence and thorough knowledge, stereotypes will erode -- as they have already begun to do -- and, hopefully, more sensible policies can be achieved.
My prediction on legalization in the U.S.: Within two generations of right now. Obviously my hope would be to find it legalized tomorrow, but I feel that it will take two more generations of consistent progress, wherein those who do use marijuana do not abuse marijuana, to permit society in general -- a society misinformed by malicious governmental and corporate entities -- to accept occasional, moderate, responsible cannabis usage in the same vein as alcohol.
