This is going to be my first growroom for the magical cannabis! Please respond with any advice.

Strain:
Afghan from marijuana-seeds.nl

Room:
It will be 3' deep, 3' wide, and 5' tall. The walls will be a plywood covered in 1 mil Mylar.

Lighting:
I will be using a 400W HPS ballast with a GrowBright 400 watt MH Conversion Bulb for veg and HTG Supply 400w HPS Bulb for flowering. The reflector will be a Euro reflector. hhttp://htgsupply.com/viewoption.asp?ID=124 (http://htgsupply.com/viewoption.asp?ID=124)

Growing Medium:
I have a 50% peat moss, 25% perlite, 25% vermiculite soilless mix ready. 3 gallon bag containers will be used. They have drainage holes in the bottom, so I will install a large catch pan about 1" underneath so there is no stagnant water in the bags.

Fertilizer:
FoxFarm Liquid Soil Formula - Grow Big; veg
FoxFarm Liquid Soil Formula - Tiger Bloom; flowering

Seed Starting:
I'm planning on using the paper towel method and then planting seeds in rockwool. After seedlings have grown for about 2 weeks they will be transplanted to 3 gallon bags. During seedling growth I will use 2 4ft daylight flouros.

Ventilation:
This is where I'm undecided. I want to install a 250cfm inline-fan as an exhaust, but am unsure if I will need it. Would the room get too hot with the light set-up?

CO2:
Since this isn't a huge factor, I will probably use yeast/sugar water.

Odor:
I did some research and found a post that said to use a 3 or 5 gallon bucket with 1 cup Febreeze in water and install a fan blowing in. This would be much cheaper than getting a carbon scrubber. How bad would the smell be anyway? I live in an apartment by myself, but I don't want the smell to be detectable in the living room in case a visitor shows up.

Anything I'm leaving out?

I think fluoros would work during veg, but an HID light would be much better for flower.

its gonna get hot in there if you dont have any type of exhaust system. ventilation should be the top priority. as long as you have a good exhaust fan you should be fine. small intake holes on the bottom and bigger holes at the top for exhausting the hot air.

Hey guys have about the same space in my closet..just a little bit shy..

33"x22"x63" Notice i have plenty of height..I'm putting it in the corner of my closet so i have the back wall and the wall to the right to use as part of the cab...I was going to use thick cardboard from high quality shipping boxes and just butt it up to the two walls..I planned on cutting a 4" hole near the bottom and have a fan inside the cab pulling outside air toward the plants and another fan on the light pushing the hot air toward the 5" exhaust at the top.... The question i have is do i need a roof for this since its in the closet or is the top of hte closet sufficient? The clothes rack would be in the way if i'm going to close it in..If i'm not describing this good enough i can put up pics...any help would be appreciated..THanks so much

I think the top of the closet is fine, especially if it is painted flat white! And the clothes rack would probably make a good hanger for your HID light, if it is strong enough! keep it up!
