Hello All

So here are my pics of my current grow. Its 100% Organic.. The line up is as stated in the header.. I had some other strains germing but only these made it...

Ill keep everyone posted.. Im really hoping that I get a purple NYCD pheno. One of the plants already had purple stems and under leaves so I hope this is one...:thumbsup::thumbsup:

The Mexican I picked up on my last journey home ( Its where my family lives ) .. Its not easy getting those little suckers past customs .. Its actual land race genetics picked up from the native indians through some bartering, they are super cool!!! .. ... the last one grew six feet after constant LSTing.. :rastasmoke::rastasmoke:

Sorry for the quality of pics but Im using my cell phone and the quality speaks for itself..

stem purpling is commonly a result of wide temperature ranges ... can also be from a less common nutrient deficiency ... it doesn't necessarily have anything to do with the plant's genetics ... I wouldn't get too excited (purple coloring doesn't make it any more potent, anyway, it's just a 'fad') ... :smokin:

Hope you show us some flowers when they happen. Where did you get Mexican Oaxacan. I haven't heard that since the 80's?

Picked them up when I went to Puerto Escondido in Oaxaca Mexico about two years ago.. My family is from Mexico City the Capital and Oaxaca is not too far so every time I go visit I try to find Native Indians or Local dealers, Last time i picked up some smoke from the Natives for some Dallas Cowboys Hats.. They love the US shit.. Out of the Baggie i got like some seeds and brought them back with me. This is the second time I grow it out..Being that the seeds are from Native Mexico in the Jungles of Oaxaca Im pretty sure that they are pure seeds but nowadays you can never know.. Its a very sativy plant and the last grow I had the plant grew like 6 feet tall and had very airy buds.. .. ..

Flower pictures will be posted for sure once they are ready..

Ok so these pics are alot better.. In the pic with all the plants they are as follow

From Top Left to Right

NYCD, AK

Middle

Mexican, NYCD, NYCD

Last Row

White Russian/ Chronic

I have been suppercroping the hell out of the two bigger plants and the lower shoots have almost caught up with the cola so I should have a shitload of colas... So far the NYCD shows good growth although one of them looks like it might be a runt.. Im going to keep vegging them and suppercropping until I am satisfied with the amount of shoots...:thumbsup:

Ill keep posting them as they come along..

Purpling in the stems means there is a proper amount of calcium within the plant. All your plants should have a few purple veins or stems.

Your seeds look indica so I would say those arent wild natural strains as I thought because I saw the fat leaves

The NYCD is 60/40 I believe which is mostly Sativa.. The Mexican is mostly Sativa should be 100%. White Russian and Chronic are mostly Indica therefore the hyrbid has turned out more to the Indica side. The AK is is almost all Indica so yes you are correct.. Most of my plants lean to the Indican genes but the Mexican No way... Ive grown this thing out and there is nothing Indica about it.

yeah the mexican sativa looks like a Kalimist I grew, kewler high but lesser yield than an indica.

Right now a Jamaican sativa growin is tall and slender with a fullwrap of skinny leaves so much that you cant see the buds at all, and the buds are about leg sized. I want a mexican-Jamaican sativa. It would be kick @$$ doja. Mexicans towering structure with leg sized buds

The Girls are doing great.. Im must say that im impressed thus far with Somas Genetics. out of 3 germed all fem.. Two with vigour and one runt...Two of the NYCD's smell just like red grapefruit. Kinda blew my mind. They are about 23 days into flower and at this point just using AN Iguana Juice Bloom at a very small ratio and will only prob give them another 3 feedings before I start flushing with PH'd H2O at about 6.00 and some enzymes.. Oh yeah and one small shot of Final Flush from AN about two weeks prior to harvest. THe NYCD and Mexican will prob go bout 11 weeks but everything else will come down in about 60.. The next pics will be prior to harvest..

Peace...:rastasmoke::rastasmoke::rastasmoke:

Great looking plants! I hope they're all females, and you get a great harvest out of them. Only one thing that I would be doing differently...I'd get that ballast off the floor and away from those pots. It wouldn't be pretty if runoff managed to find its way from one of the pots to the ballast. Just my :twocents:. Other than that, keep it up! Looking forward to seeing them flower.

Thanks for the post all.. Ive taken some advice and moved away the ballast. and yes all girls.. This grow was from all seed and I got 9/9 girls. I think it was because I gave away some cuts and just got some good karma from the ganja god...:thumbsup:
