I have 2 plants a few weeks old. I use a 100W HPS and it's about 2 1/2 ft away. I am flushing them with reg. water to cure some nute burn, But the leaves are droopy and a little yellow, getting greener! They are only about 8-12 inches big and have great little buds with plenty of resin.
Not really sure if what i am doing is right, and i've read alot of forums, but am still looking for a little help from my friends.

Thanks

Wow those are the smallest budding plants i've ever seen. That first pic look like its only 6" tall and way into flowering. I don't get why u budded them so early?

I got them budding like that so i asked some people and theysaid throw it right into the 12/12 cycle so i did. I thought they were unusually small too, Who Knows...Hopefully someone.

looks good, but you were a little misinformed it seems. some strains can be thrown right into flowering and youll get maybe 12-18in plants with a decent yield. however, most other strains you should at least grow out to 6-10 inches before forcing flowering. the good thing about teeny tiny plants is they mature a little faster. but, it looks like youre only going to get maybe a bowl or two from each plant. best of luck to you

May get a joint out of that if you are lucky. A lot of work to end up with a gram of weed.

I'd start some heavy duty reading on the boards and get a little more info under my belt before I went for my next grow. Study up.

good luck.

I recieved them already about that size, the buds were not as big. But I did not force it, it was already happening. Is there any way to get these back or should i just star over. The store i got them from said there really easy and should grow up pretty big and strong. We think it's Bubba Kush.

do you have access to more of these? if so, id say just let these ones grow out the way they are and buy some more clones and put those under 18 hours of light per day. theyre so far along now that to revert them back to vegetative growth would be very time consuming and you would be better off starting over. if you dont have access to any clones i would say to take those and put them under a fluorescent for 24/0 lighting. oh, and force flowering means nothing more than just placing them into a 12 hour lighting environment, you dont actually force anything. cheers :)

cool, thank you, i do have access to them, and there cheap so it's not too costly, should I ask for ones that are not budding? I might just start with seeds this next time. I used to grow but outdoors in florida, indoor is different. It's a fun hobby though. Any other start up info would be great, but I don't want to waste anyones time.
Thanks So Much!!!

hey bill,
ask for some rooted female clones that are preferably not already all out budding, but preflowers on the clone are OK. what are your plans for how big you want them to be?

Check a thread in basic growing called "can I skip veg stage" interesting answers regarding 12/12 grow from the start. I notice you are using 12/12.

ThanksAlot smokin, I read that and alot that are connected. I'm just going to continue these the way they are and my new one veg a little bit. And as I was reading more about it, it is a good way of keeping it contained (height) and very potent! Although the yield is smaller theres ways to overcome most of it, and as a personal smoke I'm sure it'll be fine.

There are confirmed reports of people getting 1gr per watt of available light using the instant 12/12 photoperiod. These people are foregoing the vegetative stage altogether, and getting amazing results in just a few months or less. The only stipulation: you need to be well versed in a great flowering nutrient regimen, since you'll practically be using it right from the start. But...you also need to be able to supplement nitrogen to a plant that, in essence, doesn't need as much nitrogen as a vegging plant would. Add too much, and you're possibly going to end up with a final product that tastes overly "green"...or, worse yet, burning your plants with too much fertilizer.

I'm going to try the instant 12/12 method with some decent bagseed that I've been holding on to. (Not using my killer stock...just in case I goof it all up.) I'll probably make a grow-log here when I decide to give it a try.

In the past few days the buds have really started growing fast. I've been flushing them for a few days but things are looking good right no. I had heard that same thing about 1g=1w, and thats fine, i have some others starting more of a normal schedule. I'll keep in Touch.
