l usually store herb in plastic prescription bottles, as they are pretty much airtight (nothing is 100% airtight other than wax)
i read a thread on here that said that plastic attracts THC and storing weed in plastic bottles would suck most of the thc heads off, leaving you with a less potent product.
truth??
Yeah, it's true. You can't scrape it off plastic like you can with glass. All around, glass is way better.

Both of those are myths.
Wax is not the only airtight material and plastic wont "suck most of the thc heads off".

Glass is superior i believe, but storing weed in plastic containers for days or a few weeks while you smoke it isn't going to make too much of a difference to worry about really. If your going to be storing it for months or longer then glass is deffinatly preferable.

Pressurized containers do not lose pressure over time, gas bubbles [with the same gas in the bubbles] remain in ice for thousands of years, glass is sometimes used to hold gases. Im not saying wax isnt airtight, but its not the only thing that is. Plus, no doubt there exists some types of wax that would absorb gases.
As for the plastic: Due to watching curry irretrievably stain plastic containers, i dont doubt that some curry is absorbed a little way into it. Therefore its not unlikely that an amount of THC would be absorbed. But the amount is so infinitesimal that it hardley counts as "suck[ing] most of the thc heads off". And, of all the things that ive ever put in/seen in plastic bottles, the only ones to seep out the sides were the ones that actually disolved the bottle.
No conflict intended.

^^^hes right, listen to him.
besides, even in the worst case scenario that plastic is a black hole for thc, and sucks off all the trichomes it comes into contact with, it could still only suck off the trichomes that are exposed(on the outer surface of the bud), and seeing as how MOST of the trichomes are on the inside of the bud, protected within the leaf structure, even in a WORST case scenario, were not talking a durastic impact on potency.

Any random glass jam/pickle/coffee/whatever jars will do if you wash them.
