How many plants under 600w HPS in 4ftx4ftx5ft

Hey all, new to the site, this is my first post.
At my first attempt to grow I used 3 female seeds and sprouted them under 2 flouresents. as soon as they were above the soil I put them into my 4x4 growroom under a 400w hps. They developed huge buds and I got a decent yield from them.
Im about to start my second, and have purchased a 600w hps. how many is a good number to bud under it?
also, my room is a little ventilated, should I be using co2 or would it be ok?

it depends on how you grow if you let them grow out atleast 1 psf

if you do sog then you could get atleast 4 psf

prob need more ventelation

get everything done right then try the co2

i dont know much about growing yet so wouldnt know how many plants to fit in 4x4x5, but im growing 8 plants in 4x3x8 sized room and i think im having good results. but saying that im a n00b so i dont know if my plants are looking good compared to others plants. heres a link to pics of my first everhttp://boards.cannabis.com/cannabis-pictures/137744-my-first-ever-grow.html grow.

How much room was left over at the end of your first grow? Was there enough room for more plants? Will they be indica or sativa? Remember more plants will rquire more room and more air circulation. Hope your grow is a success!
