Well, I picked some up the other day. I can't for the life of me figure out how to calibrate these, I've even had other people try. Even had my dad mess with them. I was told a paper clip weigh's a gram, but when I put it on there it said 1.8-1.9 so it's not totally off. Can anyone help me? Im pickin up a quarter pound tomorrow and I'd like to have these fixed by then if possible. Thank's

a dollar bill wieghs a gram exactly... usually theres directions on the scale....
u need a 100 gram weight to calibrate most scales ive been through... just put it on and if it reads '100.0' then your cool...if it says anything else hold down the 'mode' button for a couple seconds untill the screen says 'CAL PASS' or the like...
and of course make sure you're in an area with no wind and u have a PERFECTLY even surface....

nah man use a nickel.. they weight EXACTLY 5.00 grams. And yeah every scale I've ever worked with required 100.00 grams to calibrate so simply just 20 nickels..

I tryed using nickle's, and I looked for the manufacturer's website but couldn't find it. I got it from some arabian guy at this lil smoke shop, cost me $24 buck's. I doubt I can return it now.

no one can really help you here man there's gonna be a specific sequence of buttons you have to press or somethin on whatever individual scale you have to reach the calibrating mode. at that point in general you need to place a 100.00 gram weight on it so the scale's computer can figure out what numbers to show for certain weight and by providing a known weight it can figure this out.. For mine I had to like hold the power button and then hit the tare at the same time to get into calibrating mode but that's just mine

Well the lid of it has direction's on it. I follow them but it doesnt seem to work. This is what it say's to do...
1. Press On/Off/Tare to turn on the scale and wait until it display's 0.0
2.Press UCAL key once and the scale show's 'Cal' and the 0.0 flashing.
3. Press UCAL again and the scale show's the full capacity weight.
4.Put the standard weight on the center of the platform, then press UCAL. The scale will show PASS and full capacity weight.
5.Take weight off platform, press On/Off/Tare and hold for 3 second's to turn the scale off. Calibration is completed.
I've followed these instruction's exactly. What could I use that weigh's 100 gram's? I don't know anyone who would have a weight, nor do I have one.

like we all have said, just use 20 nickles, or buy a weight for 4 bucks at any headshop
