i have some grape ape that i want to dig up and transplant into a 5 gallon bucket and try to reveg it. would it be ok to trim some of the roots back, or is there any sort of process that works best? is it even a good chance at survival?

the plant is not much bigger then 2 1/2 feet tall due to late planting. i'd like to bud indoors just to see how differnt it would grow and see if it would smoke any differnt. after reading so many threads on here the only way to figure things out is to try them yourself. but if theres any tips out there; fire away

i've always wanted to use this smiles

Leave the biggest rootball you can when digging it up and make sure the soil is wet otherwise the rootball will crumble.

Yes, what mike said. It should survive if you don't damage the root too much, but I know from experience that it's possable, but difficult.

Also, since the plant is flowering, and you will have to re-veg it, both of which are stressfull, you have an especially difficult time.

Good luck!
