i don't know about controlling two sockets
but yes the device you are looking for is called a hygrometer
they're very popular for people who have humidors for cigars...
i believe you can get them at radioshack even

Go to any Hydro Store and ask for the Oregon temp\humidity gage. I have the remote access one... it's Wireless so I just throw the gage in the room, and I can view my humidity and temps while I'm sitting on the couch smoking a joint. It's nice. =)
Costs about $50, well worth it. It really makes all the different in the world when you don't have to constantly go into the room to see whats going on.

Yes they make such a device ,
I've seen them by the attic fans at homedepot for cheap . Rhizome may have the name / pt. no of 1 specifically designed for a grow ?

I just hang one of those home 'weather stations' in my cabinet ... get them at WalMart or any hardware store ... cost under $20, have thermometer, hygrometer, and barometer ... :smokin:

Yup, I went with two, fairly cheap hygrometers. Its nice to be able to double check something that doesn seem right. When I'm not double testing, I usually just have one stuck to the wall of the veg/cloning room and the other on the wall of the flowering room. A very important purchase IMHO. Its right up there with pH equipment, as far as I'm concerned.
