CLONES & GENETICS QUESTION

Hey there grower's , have a quick question on clones & genetics . when u take clones from a mother over time , does it weaken the potency & genetics of the strain since it's a clone ? if so , how many generations can u have from a mother before the mother plant becomes usless & u have 2 start with a new mother ? smokedaddy :rastasmoke:

Not quite 'generations' since there is no sexual reproduction, but you can clone indefinitely. Over 20 years or so you might see some drift as has been shown in the various lines derived from the original OGKush cut, but all are still wonderful plants and very much worth growing.
Regenerate your mother from a fresh cutting when she starts to look scruffy and pot-bound.

you may occasionally see opinions that clones lose potency over a few 'generations', but I think that is NOT scientific fact ... :smokin:
