preservation of the THC in your sack..??

i recently bought a small sealed glass container to store my "devil's lettuce" in.. and i've notice that its keeping better in there.. (wow.. a sealed container vs. a sandwich baggy.. who woulda thunk it) but this made me wonder how else i could keep it "fresh"

the storage instructions for medications using thc as an ingredient say:
Storageâ??To store this medicine:

* Store away from heat and direct light.
* Do not store this medicine in the bathroom, near the kitchen sink, or in other damp places. Heat or moisture may cause the medicine to break down.
* Keep this medicine in the refrigerator but keep it from freezing.

this coupled with the observation that keeping your pipe tobacco in the refrigerator keeps it longer..

i was wondering what would the optimal conditions for storage of bud be???

also.. if your keeping it in a plastic bag.. you might consider buying a sealed container... :rastasmoke:

its better to keep ur buds in a glass jar then plastic because for somereason (unsure y) the thc gets stuck to the plastic. and if u have large quantities ud probabbly want to keep it in a cold place such as freezer or fridge

Optimal storage would be in total darkness (for total dankness) in a mason jar or some other type of airtight glass jar/bottle. Make sure it's in a very dry but also cool environment. As the other reply stated a fridge or freezer works well.

baby food jars work well too, and they arent as cumbersome as say a mason jar,you can stash it in places that are good for it more easily as well. a cheap jar of baby food is like 50
cents just clean it out real good.sorry if I went off topic im stoned ;)

if its some nice buds i store it in a prescription bottle that has a rubber seal and when its at home its in a glass jar with a rubber seal lol. Mids go in the film canister.
