Does anyone have any knowledge of marinol as an anti depressent? Much appreciated, doing research.

There were a few more in my post (click the link below), but they were on relief of depression in patients who had other medical problem underlying their depression.

And as a mildly manic depressive, may I suggest keeping busy? Doing things that have an end product that you can show to yourself. When I'm down, I force myself into doing necessary things. I've learned to "be mean to myself".

And "doing for others" iis also good for you. I work in special education and it supports me mentally when I'm down. Helping those who are helpless, affirms your "higher nature". When you are in contact with your "higher nature", it is harder to be depressed!

In many cases, toking a fatty, doesn't hurt either. :stoned:

Thank you so much Storm Crow. It is gratefully appreciated. This is for a case of chronic gastrointestinal problems where person is already taking an anti-depressant, however the specific anti-depressant is harmful to the gastrointestinal system and so searching for one that is not. I am very surprised that it is not so common to prescrible marinol for this.
