As far as i'm aware, America has no more freedom then Britain, therefore i'm making a patriotic statement. :D

Britain and American have just as much freedom as eachother. But I wouldnt call either of them Land Of The Free.. we're all being opressed, too, just in different, more subtle ways..

Oooooooooh deep. The truth is im totally lean and for some reason feel great to be British.

On the subject, i'm going back to America in February for the first time in 6 years. If I were to have a conversation with someone about politics and their Republican and they start spouting pro-war bollocks at me, would it seriously offend them if I were to contradict them? Don't wanna get hit round the head with a baseball bat, though i'd probably silent anyway.

Shit, i'm lean. Happy tuesday y'all!

I love America immensely but I am not patriotic. I know there is tremendous hatred of Americans, which is often deserved, but I love Americans for their vices and their goodness, I think. I hate Bush. I hate the government. I love the herb.

But yes, America is much more oppressed than you Britishers. Didn't weed get put as a minor drug recently, too?

If I'm going anywhere, it's Amsterdam. I envy their freedom.

Patriotism I view as devotion to the actions of the current government. I don't support the current government, but I still like Old School America (except for all that racism, sexism, and stuff -- so pro-Constitution) and what America could be and was meant to be.

Depends on who you talk to. Bush thinks his slight gain over Kerry means America loves his war and wants to declare war on every filthy country that has "tyranny" (notice that in his inaugural address he did not mention the war on terror once; he must have realized that invading Afghanistan and Iraq didn't do jack shit against potential terrorist attacks, in fact they're probably more likely now, and he needed another excuse to invade places), but only Iran next to all that oil and North Korea next to the world's next superpower, not Burma or Cuba or Mauritania of course, and America is and always has been exempt from all tyranny and if you think otherwise you're unpatriotic pro-terrorist scum.

Most people though, including Republicans, have accepted that large numbers of people are seeing the holes in this logic and most probably won't be particularly offended since the anti-war crowd is already so vocal and they've grown used to the arguments. But beware, there are always those ultraconservative freaks who will bitch you out if you even suggest something absurd like homosexuals don't all burn for eternity in the afterlife or the universe is more than 6,000 years old or America shouldn't be able to do whatever it wants to any country with lots of brown people.

Yes, I've always thought Vice President Cheney's parents chose wisely when they decided his first name.

I am proud to be Scottish but hate being governed by a different country. I dont hate the English like most people think the Scots do I just hate being ruled by a very different country from our own.

As for America, I would love to visit and I love to see how patriotic they are for there country but they are going through a rough patch just now with there crazy ass war loving goverment. The sooner they get bush out the better and the same goes for Blair. They two are in bed with each other and want to rule the planet, its all about the benjamins my friends. Money Money Money thats all the current governments are interested in.

I wouldn't say Tony Blair is war mongering, just scared of the US government which is understandable I guess, being the tiny little country we are. :)
Anyway, i'm sober now and hate Britain again. Still prefer it to anywhere else mind, can't wait to blow away some Americans with my RP accent  .

no the next 9/11 will be in chicago................or maybe atlanta (cdc) that would be REALLY fucked up if they hit the cdc. i would be one of the first to die out of everyone. hahaa maybe new york agai too. shit/. unless bush had something to do with it, 9/11 wont happen again until bush desperately needs a reason to invade some country and run it for whatever reason.

who would bomb a snowy mountain town in Northern Arizona? If it weren't for the god damned draft.. the lack of power or clean air, water.. the nuclear power plants that could blow any minute... then I'd love america!!

Until then, I'm moving to Vancouver in '08. If anyone has anything to say about that, tell them to talk to Marc Emery.

if green was legalized in britain then i would love britain, but as it stands cannabis is a class c which is hardly an offense at all to have it yet the problems that weed causes the police and its a class c drug wudnt it jus be easier to legalize it and start making the government money in weed tax and increasing stoner tourism, opening of new businesses, more jobs opened up, ordinary decent people can stop breaking the law doing a crime that shudnt really be a crime, thats the only thing that i hate britain for, stupid bloody governments and the old bastards in the house of lords, who in thier childhood weed was evil and now when any law is tried to be passed they chuck it out the window, shudnt they ask the actual people of britain what should happen??? if none of that makes sense, blahhhhhhhhhhhh im stoned, i know what i meant!
