carbon scrubber

Hi all would a 4ft. x 8" carbon scrubber be enough to filter air in a 4x6x8ft. room with a 8" in line fan.

Three feet to four feet would work - just use whatever width wire you can find and don't bother with trying to cut it. (The sharp edges are a pita when it comes to putting the stocking over the wire.)

You also should figure, if all of your vent lines are 8", unless you reduce right at the filter, you're going to have a 10" filter, not an 8".

Thanks pharm can I have it reduced to 6" I used metal gutter gaurds inside tube and outside tube were covered with a active carbon pads you cut to fit and use velcro to attach.
