OCTOBER 11--The mother of a two-year-old Wisconsin boy shared a marijuana blunt with her child as friends laughed, filmed the child smoking, and asked, "Hey buddy, are you stoned?" Krystle Leigh Weber, 20, was charged yesterday along with two male friends with pot possession and contributing to the delinquency of a minor (Weber was also hit with a child neglect rap, also a misdemeanor). According to a Circuit Court complaint, after a confidential source told police about the smoking incident, cops seized a cell phone from defendant Sean Held, 19, and discovered three videos of the August incident. On the clips, the boy is seen holding and apparently puffing on a blunt, and "staggering around a bedroom in what appears to be a confused and altered state." In a police interview, Weber, who is pictured above in a Menomonee Falls Police Department mug shot, said that she initially rejected Held's suggestion to have her son "hit it," but eventually relented and agreed to let the two-year-old take a "small one." The complaint notes that Weber told police that she "knew what she did was wrong, and she would do anything to keep her son."

I have been smokin for 5 years im now 18. I think 13 is a fine age to start blazing. I think i didnt really understand cannabis until sometime this year though.

If they received a "child neglect" charge then you can be sure there parenting rights will be investigated. They will have to fight to keep there child now.
But when you really think about it... They shouldn't lose there kid. Since when do we decide how much they love there child?? I'm not defending there action, just thinking that there are more constructive ways for them to learn that what they did was inappropriate and stupid.
Why do we always jump to the worst possible punishment?? I think so we don't have to think of a real solution.

Ironically, her birthday was on April 20. (4/20) No wonder she's a stoner. But giving a kid pot is a really piss poor idea. I'd never consider giving my 2 year old any. I don't think any parent with half a brain would.

I think this high lights the need for true drug education in the US. I mean she was ignorant, but that doesn't mean she doesnt love her child. When kids are taught that MJ is a demon drug that will ruin your life if ever touched, then they try it find out that its doesn't kill them, they assume all the facts about it are BS and that all the things taught about other drugs must be lies too. If in health class a person was taught the pysiological effects on the body from MJ use, and the negative carcinoginic effects of smoke inhalation, then who knows maybe she would have known better. Then again maybe not, there are alot of duds in the genepool.

I would bend the rules if it were like that, and would allow my children to do it at 16, just because I think with proper education kids can make the right decisions in life...

once I have children, they will not be cigarette smokers. If they smoke anything, it's going to be marijuana, because that's not going to kill them..cigarettes are the most fucking ridiculous thing..I hate them..

Yeah I think two is a little young, they shouldave waited until the little boy's 1st grade graduation at least. That would have been far more acceptable The rule in my house is 5 years of age to smoke, 7 to drink.

Im kidding but my best smoking buddy has been at it since the 2nd Grade.
