Some of the worst known ways to die are from diseases that your god put on this planet with us. How is this at fault of free will. People work very hard everyday to try to stop things like this from happening. When god is the one who put us here with these tiny monsters. Thats not even why im really writing i just thought of that.

Why am i being punished for what two people who had perfect happiness did? I never had a chance to taste of gods fruit i never had a chance to live in prefect harmony with god. Im not the one who disapointed him. Wouldnt a loving caring god give everyone a chance not just 2 out of 56000000000000 people?

Alotta shit just happens, you can't blame everything on God. That's if you think he exists, etcetera. And even if he does exist, his idea of 'free-will' is merely an idea of 'ignoring-you'.

well dont worry about it to much, god isnt real.

and if he is real and im wrong he sounds like a prick in the bible. why would he punish all humanity for the sins of adam and eve unless he was a jack ass.

reminds me of a favorite quote from Tyler Durden, of Fight Club:

I've met God across his long walnut desk with his diplomas hanging on the wall behind him, and God asks me, "Why?"

Why did I cause so much pain?
Didn't I realize that each of us is a sacred, unique snowflake of special unique specialness?

Can't I see that we're all manifestations of love?

I look at God behind his desk, taking notes on a pad, but God's got this all wrong.

We are not special.
We are not crap or trash either. We just are.
We just are, and what happens just happens.

And God says, "No, that's not right."
Yeah. Well. Whatever. You can't teach God anything.

and to go along with that one:

[while burning the Narrator's hand with lye]
Tyler Durden: Shut up! Our fathers were our models for God. If our fathers bailed, what does that tell you about God?
Narrator: No, no, I... don't...
Tyler Durden: Listen to me! You have to consider the possibility that God does not like you. He never wanted you. In all probability, he hates you. This is not the worst thing that can happen.
Narrator: It isn't?

this thread sparked a question in me.

Say you're a doctor working to find a cure for HIV, CAncer, ect. Except the thing is, is that you're a devout christian. You love god and the bible and stuff. Is it still right to try to eradicate something that god put on earth for a reason.?

if you believe in God, or a god.. then you should also believe in a counter power, ... ie: satan. satan can cause doubt, hate, death... and possible, disease.. a powerfull, slow, agonizing death.. everyone has sinned mind you. gods intention was for everyone to be perfect or god like.. it was not so, and therefore giving satan some power.

almost all disease is a result of a decision you make. usually by diet or activity, whether you consciously realize it or not. except if you're born with a disease, and even that can be argued by those who believe in past/future life.

blaming a scapegoat who is holy and in the sky does not make it any less a scapegoat. WE give ourselves these diseases, and we have the power to stop them.

if God is all powerful why didnt he just destroy Satan? You know, click his fingers and BAM, Satan never existed

well, you kinda gotta understand how it all came to be before you can ask those questions... long story short.

satan was an angel. who didnt beleive in what god was trying to do, so he betrayed god, and tried starting his own kinda thing.... in hell i guess, but he loves and hates god. as we love and hate everything in the world...

Yeah, I know the story of the 'fallen angel', but that doesn't answer my question. If Satan and God are real, and God created Satan, then why can't he uncreate him?

Why should God uncreate Satan? Whats he done thats any worse then anyone else has?
The Devil didn't make me do any of the crap things I've done in my life they were my choice not his.
Perhaps this "gentle" god (LOL) wants us to stop blaming the devil like we did in the garden and take responsibility for our own actions instead.

Vary true. You're born, you die, and you go into the spirit world, heaven, valhala, or whatever your beliefs of the afterlife may be. Someone dies, and another person is born, that's the sycle of life and death.
