Worry about mold on a glass stem?

Is there any reason to worry about that? How often and to what extent should you clean glass stems/bowls?

well, ive never had it happen, but i was a bti of ac lean freak. If you knwo hwo to clean your pieces with ISO, then do that reasonably often, dont let it get too black for too long. But chances are, if mold starts to form, youll smell it first.

The longest I have gone without cleaning a glass stem is proberly 2-3 weeks, that is pretty bad really as there will have been a lot of germs. Never any mold though.

its not mold buddy its the resin of the weed. mold is formed when a living organism is decaying, this isnt the case.

you can scrape, make it into a little ball of resin and smoke it.
will get u really high

Unless you have some mj on the stem/bowl that got wet and was sitting out for an extended period of time, I wouldnt worry about it. Although I hate smoking from a dirty bowl, so its ISO + Salt before every bowl!
