Has anyone ever thought of using solar power for their lighting?I came acroos this site last night that sells complete setups up to 2100 watts. Remote Home: MrSolar.com, Online Solar, Inc.---Solar Panels and Solar Power Systems (http://www.mrsolar.com/page/MSOS/CTGY/remote)
if you scroll down you'll see the different setups, kinda pricey though :wtf::wtf::wtf:

Very expensive initial costs, but the most efficient way to run solar is to feed the generated power right back into the grid so your meter could potentially run BACKWARDS if it is a sunny day, you are at work with nothing running, and the lights are off. Charging to a battery is far less efficient.
IMHO only consider solar if you wanted to do your house solar anyway.

your right stinky, i was thinking more along the lines of having nothing to do with the power company whatsoever..LOL. :) and if you think about it the whole system would pay for itself in a short time. Also forgot that some states give refunds back on the purchase, like California especially. I think the give you almost all of your money back if not 90%.
