I read it last semester. Theres no doubt that it was outstanding for the time period and it laid the foundations for every other philosopher to come. I mean aristotle and plato were the staple in education all the way up to the 17th century, which is a fucking long time. Personally, it was a little too steeped in politics, political ethics, and justice in general. Not really for me. It's funny, they say that Plato and Aristotle advanced human thinking massivly, only for Christianity to come into power. The 17th century was finally when philosophy was less theodicy and more.....well phlisophy haha.
