Another great source of information from the MMP. Seek your state and contact the representatives as needed.

Reform in Alabama is an impossibility or at least difficult beyond comprehension - the opposition too great and the support simply too rare and insignificant against the old and backwards politics here. Three things only seem to be the focus in my area of Alabama: Education, Healthcare and Jobs... Always the same shit.

Hmmm...Hawaii eh?
Hawaii is where i've always dreamed of living, would be great to be living there and getting medical marijuana. I do actually suffer from migranes and they are a bloody annoyance, you get one...and thats your whole day fucked.

Maryland is currently flirting with legislation dealing with a MMJ doctor card similar to that in California... We could then grow up to 4 personal plants and have an ounce on us legally.
YESSSSSSSSS.

Hey All !
Its great to be legal, but it seems Washington has a ways to go.
We are basing our legal limit at this time on Oregon's laws.
That's not too bad I just live outside Portland.
In July we will see what our legislature comes up with for the limit.

I think this is the reason why NORML calls it twelve:
Maryland
Maryland's legislature passed a medical marijuana affirmative defense law in 2003. This law requires the court to consider a defendant's use of medical marijuana to be a mitigating factor in marijuana-related state prosecution. If the patient, post-arrest, successfully makes the case at trial that his or her use of marijuana is one of medical necessity, then the maximum penalty allowed by law would be a $100 fine.
Sounds like a person would have to jump through a bunch of hoops and still could end up with a fine after the fact.
Have a good one!
