ok so me and my room mate want to start pulling like 2 bowls/1/8 of bud we buy, so 4 bowls for a quarter and so on. so we are going to save all this up and up from now in till 420 and smoke it up, we hope to have close to a half pound(if not more)

now then on to the question, what would you recommend to store to keep this bud as fresh as possible, i have heard a mason jar works well, i should keep it in a dark cool place right?

you're gonna want to keep your buds in an air tight jar,, mason jar preferably.

ok, so also for this long time will opening it for like up to 5 seconds to put more buds in be a problem, will it eventually dry them out?

don't put WET, DAMP buds in a jar.

So like dank buds that are really spongy and moist, i should let dry out a little bit?

Yes....in a dark, cool place, with indirect airflow.

a half lb is approximately 225 grams, so im thinking, between now and 4/20 is approximately 6 months give or take a week, that would be like over an ounce a month just from 2 bowls an eighth, suppose an eighth is on average 10 bowls, meaning that you smoke more than 5 or 6 ounces per month?
yeah thats believable.
anyway yeah put some paper towel or something in there to absorb the moisture.

My friend used to pull a 1/4oz from each batch.
(this was "back in the day") She would put it in a baggie, write the strain on a small peice of paper, roll up the baggie and put it in a shoebox in her freezer.
When we'd have a sleep over bash, we'd pinch a little from each and have a blast. Popeyes at 2am. lol

A mason jar or food saver would work too.
