i just put together a new cabinet and i was wondering how large of a light i should put in it im trying a 150 watt hps to start since i already had it however i think it might be to small i am working with 5 square feet its like 35x21 inches so if someone could help me out i would greatly appreciate it

figuring a 400 is ideal for 8 square feet, I suggest you will need a 250-watt to adequately penetrate your space ... (50-watt per sq.ft. rule of thumb) ... :smokin:

if i were to use a 400 watt hps would that be over kill???

As long as you can keep the temps down .
This might mean a cooltube or aircooled hood and blower but It might be worth it w/ your yields .
