new room ideas

hello, im currently using a 2' x 4' x 6' room with an extra 2' in height when i need it. the problem is im only using a 400w hps at the moment. the room won't change size except maybe a false floor of around 1' im debating whether i should either go for a 600w or string several floro tubes vertically lining the inside of the closet. thinking maybe 4x50w tubes on the 2' sides and 6 tubes on the 4' sides. temps with my 400 sit around 70-80 at the moment there is only the one plant but im thinking maybe SOG next, the 400 should hit around 50w per square foot but im thinking of bumping up the lumen a bit as this floro tube set up would be around 1400w total so around 175w per square foot.
im fairly new to this and average around 5oz per plant (PPP and spoetnik) would these changes be worth the effort in terms of yeild?

instead of adding all the floro tubes i would go with the 600 and see how that goes at first

thats too much floro wattage in my eyes for a grow

a 1000 in a cool tube would be more efficient than a 400 with 1400 aditional watts

if you can handle that much wattage just go with another 400 or get 600s and the 2 either way would be even more efficient and better light spread

Be sure to watch the heat and have plenty of fresh air circulation, sounds like you are on target
