Does anyone have some tips or tricks for avoiding/reducing that cottonmouth feeling? My roommate's been complaining.

Drink some water? Or perhaps a "cooooola"? lol I dunno, the only answer I can think of is the most straightforward one. You fix dry stuff with wet stuff.

gatorade is actually the solution. water works too but your mouth dries up again. soda just gets you more thirsty.

I've found that chewing gum or having a hard peppermint candy in my mouth when I smoke greatly reduces my cottonmouth afterwords.

if it hasn't already been said, drinking milk works really well.

The cotton mouth feeling is the shit. Isn't that part and parcel of being 'high'? I don't know about others but everyone I've seemed to smoke with HAS to have some fluids with them? Pussies:D

Nah, each to their own!

Did you know there is an actual medical condition for dry mouth? Anyway, I was in a doctors office one day and he had a ton of samples of this new buggle gum that has something in it that stimulates saliva glands or something to that extent. Long story short, it also cure cotton mouth.

Alright, nothing I hadn't figured before but thanks. As for gum, my roommate uses that to fix the munchies... Just a tip for those who can't control them.

Try this: Rub the tip of your tongue up against the bottom of your upper front teeth.

I had a music teacher show me this to alleviate cottom mouth before preformances. It seems to work for some and not others.

Good tip, it seems to release a lot of saliva. I'llkeep it in mind.

gum or drinking milk always helped me... only need a drink or two of milk, then just take a drink or two of water because if it does come back, cottonmouth fused with milk really sucks.

I wonder why some people like cotton mouth. I think it is unpleasant, but where I live summers are so hot that if you're outside and you feel that way you could die soon afterwards, so maybe it's a natural aversion for me.
