View Full Version : Random acts of kindness
They make the world a better place, they can be from a friend or a total stranger. Latley Ive been given weed by a stranger ,then yesterday I went to see a mate ,he gave me some jtr seeds and a glass bong he no longer uses. :D What was the last random act of kindness that came your way?.
Lol, now how about paying it forward?

I always open doors for people and stuff. I like helping people. If I see someone who needs help lifting something or if their kids are running off i'll help. Its only the right thing to do.

I was walking at 3:00am last summer and I came across this homeless guy, so I say "how's it goin'?". He says "not so good, sleepin' outside again...". He sounded really down about it so I gave him a joint and a couple bucks, he was pretty thankful too, seemed like a good guy overal. Feels good to know you brightened up somebody's shitty day (or in this case night).

Man, some people aren't so nice... Some people are not all about random acts of kindness.
Yesterday I was telling this cute new girl I met that my doctor told me not to lift anything too heavy. So I nicely asked her to help me go to the bathroom, and she refused.
Bitch.

last nice thing i did for someone...other than taking care of my old peoples at work.....
there was this guy in his wheelchair stuck out in the rain. i guess his chair started messing up[it's electric] so he couldn't move. so my friends and i go out and start pushing the chair and push it into the building. then my friend and i go to the nurses office to get him a blanket to cover up with, cuz it was fuckin cold in the building. then his dad called, i told him what happened, and we waited with him til his dad came to get him.
Acts of kindness aint very common in my neck of the woods.
The streets of East London are called brutal for a reason.
As many famous people have said - kindness is mistaken for weakness.
The last act of kindness towards me was Alfie making my a cuppa this lunch time.
The last act of kindness from me was giving over 2 oz of weed for free to a close friend who has been diagnosed with MS and wants to get back into smoking, just incase she has to when/if [god forbid] the symptoms start showing. I really hope to God they wont, in my heart i hope it's a dodgy diagnosis and she'll be completely fine. I've taken it worse than her and it's not even happening to me. She's a VERY brave, strong woman.

This afternoon I did knife hits with a pretty much total stranger, using his weed. Some people think he's sketchy, but he's actually a pretty good guy - and all he wants anyone to do is get high.

Not being drug testted today, and
The BEST random act of kindness I've had in years was this past Thursday when my new friend drove an hour and a half, not even knowing me, and brought me some smoke. He has forever got my gratitude!

Random acts of kindness are awesome. I do them often. My good friends are always doing cool, random things for me, but the last time a stranger did it we were camping and the guy next to us was packing up, and he came to our camp site and offered us all his left over firewood. A LOT of it. We burned it the rest of the time we were there. Probably saved us $100.00 buying wood ourselves.( In a lot of National Forests you aren't allowed to scavenge wood) It was very cool. ( or warm as the case was!)

Random acts of kindness make the heart happy. Deliberate acts, too, but random are more fun because they're spontaneous and they surprise the recipient.
Today I helped a very old, frail lady get outside and into her car at the doctor's office as we were leaving. I also gave her a bottle of cold ice water I had in my car (unopened). She needed it more than I did.

I've gotten some things for free from a few store clerks lately. I also practice them myself whenever i can.

i prefer helping animals over humans any day. i have a weakness for dogs especially, but i dont discriminate.. the other day there was a dead squirrel and cars were tearing it apart while running over it so i buried it.. there was a stray that had a litter of puppies and they were running around bein puppies, and my street is right on the busiest interstate feeder, and 18 wheelers use my street all the time, so i took the momma and 2 of her babies that let themselves be caught to the ASPCA.. the rest found homes along the street.. If I see a dead animal on the side of the road, ill call the city to have it picked up.. I ve taken in ill dogs and either nursed em back to health or made them comfortable till it was their time.. :( i help people too, but animals are so much more helpless.. i gave a homeless man a pizza and 6pk of beer.. this one girl was downtown and she looked to b abt 16, turned out she ran away from her dad cuz he tried to make her sleep with an older man for money.. there was a guy with only 1 leg and crutches, and couldnt get on a bus.. it pissed me off.. there was all these big strong men everywhere and no one offered to help, so i got up and basically carried the guy in..
an old friend of mine smoked part of his blunt with me. saw me somewhere, let me join a ride he was on and passed it to me.
