Okay basically i have a questions that hopefully someone can answer.

I am running 2 grow tents in a sealed room with aircooled hoods that are hooked up like this:

carbon filter --- > hood --- > fan --- >

the air is exhausted out through the top of the tent back into the room. The fans are 530 m3/h (one per tent).

I am not using an intake fan, its passive.

So my question is, if i released co2 into the room, would it move around or would it just fall to the floor and stay there? I know that it is heavier than air, but then again I am moving 1060 m3/h in that room. Would it not be sucked up into the tents through the passive vents?

Before i do anything else to deliver the co2 i would just like to know if this method is viable. I have a controller so yes i will be able to dose the room correctly (to a degree). My question is just whether or not it will be available to my plants as I'm not releasing it over them and even if i did it would be sucked out of the tent pretty fast no?

Thank you all!

Shut your exhaust off when you release your co2 and leave it off for an hour afterwards. Run your line at the top of the canopy. Or run a line like this window->hood->fan->window. this way your only venting the heat from the light. But I believe your temps need to be a little higher for co2 uptake to be most effective. Hopefully someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

i think you may have misunderstood what i said. Their is no window, i am just recirculating the air in the room, hence why i want to use co2. I'm just wondering if co2 will move through the tents or just lay on the floor. Thats what i'm asking really; will the co2 in the room be moved around by my setup or will it just sit on the floor not doing anything.

Even though co2 is heavier than air if you have a draw(vacuum) it will get moved towards it.
