Maddox on 9/11 Truth (http://www.thebestpageintheuniverse.net/c.cgi?u=911_morons)

"About 125,000 people were involved in the effort around the country, with many young scientists and engineers from elite universities." <---- On The Manhattan Project...

Atomic Pioneers Gather Again to Recall Manhattan Project - NYTimes.com (http://www.nytimes.com/2006/10/06/us/06project.html)

I've also heard claims that as much as 600,000 Americans worked on The Manhattan Project.....

My point is, if the Manhattan project was able to be kept a secret, while it needed to be kept a secret, who's to say that if 9/11 was an inside job/had gov't involvement, they could not keep that a secret?

"The size of the lie is a definite factor in causing it to be believed, for the vast masses of the nation are in the depths of their hearts more easily deceived than they are consciously and intentionally bad. The primitive simplicity of their minds renders them a more easy prey to a big lie than a small one, for they themselves often tell little lies but would be ashamed to tell a big one." -Adolf Hitler, Mein Kampf

of course it could be kept a secret, while at the same time allowing for people to take part without their knowledge...

remember the feds were running drills on 9/11 of planes hitting buildings...just a coincidence, which is why when you hear some ATC recordings from that day, you can hear them asking if it's "real world or exercise" when they find out there are hijacked planes...

so you create confusion with drills as a cover for the real event...same deal with the 7/7 london bus bombs...

but all one has to do is do a little research, and the 19 freedom hating muslim hijackers commanded by the guy in the cave on the dialysis machine conspiracy theory falls apart...it doesn't explain even close to anything that happened on that day...

unless you believe a short, superficial explanation...they hijacked the planes because they hate our freedom.

they hijacked the planes because they hate our freedom. They highjacked the planes because they hate our foreign policy, which is something you can understand. Bomb people long enough sooner or later they bomb you back. The real conspiracy is simple, bomb arabs until they retaliate, then you have an excuse to bomb arabs. And it worked like a charm.

Back to the original post, had truman dropped the bomb on new york instead of hiroshima I dought those 125,000 people would have stayed quiet about it.
